A Deal to Make

They stop in front of an amusement park. Many people gather around in the entrance, even outside it looks big inside. The Ferris wheel is the main rides you can see though it's a common to all amusement parks. It's quite noisy too. People keep coming in and out of the place. Again, without a word, the man drags her inside like a dog. She wants to go berserk as soon as possible, but she needs to maintain her composure.

She looks around while walking inside but she notices a lot of couple clings towards each other and taking photos like it's a natural act. A shivers run down her spine while thinking about it but Raven wraps his arm around her while his left hand holds a phone. She looks at him with confusion.

"Look at the camera, will you? Let's end this as early as we can." He said in a bored tone before he take a photo of them.

As soon as he finishes, she pushes him away and looks away. She knows before she wants to end it today, but no one knows her boss is the one in the upper hands here.

"You're right. Let's end this soon. You're the last person whom I want to spend my time with," she mumbles and walks ahead.

They try every ride inside the amusement park and take a lot of photos with their force smile. Even in the game booths, they take each other's photo. There's a time an actual couple surrounding them like now. They are on the bench near the merry-go-round. All people who's on the other bench are couples, very close to each other and some kiss that made them flinch. They have a proper distance—surrounds with an awkward silence.

Kinrue crosses her legs, looks around until she saw a family not far away from where she sits. A young girl who's about 4 or 5 years old gets carried by her father while the mother is beside them holding a bear.

"You seem doing fine, Kinrue..."

She flinch when those words came to her mind. A sudden shiver run down her spine, it made her hug herself in fear.

"Do you understand me? Hey elf, I asked you if you understand me." She startles when he shouts.

"H-huh? What did you say?"

"Argh! You're a handful of one." He face palm himself. "I told you, let's continue to act like a couple until we found someone to date for real."

"W-what? Me and you? Act as a couple? What the hell are you saying to me?" She came back to her senses and look straight at him.

"You don't know Molly's attitude, she'll let go of us if we give him a proof that we are dating someone."

"Then let's find someone to act with us. Isn't it simple?"

"If it's simple to lie with her, then we should not be here fooling ourselves around. Besides, the word fake is not on her vocabulary. We can't fool her so, let's stick with this plan."

"I don't want it. Never in my entire life will I wish to get involved with a shit personality like you. Let's go to other rides." She stands up, about to walk.

"Then ready yourself to meet my parents. It looks like you have guts. Once it happens, both of us can't get out of this situation without damage. You don't know how influential my parents are." He stands and walks ahead of her. "You'll get known as my girlfriend throughout the country or worst even outside."

Kinrue's eyes widened in surprise when he utter those words. It keeps echoing inside her mind. She saw him walk towards the last ride, which was the Ferris wheel. Reality hits her and runs after him—grabs his left arm.

"H-how powerful are your parents? C-can it reach outside this country? You're kidding?"

"Do I look like I'm kidding? Let go of me." He removes her hand.

"O-okay, let's do it. Y-your plan. Do you hear me? I agree with your plan so, don't let any information of me get out of this country, even a little."

"Sure. Let's end this."

She didn't talk anymore and follow him again while head bows down. It looks like she mess with a wrong person.

The next morning, Kinrue came to school with drowsy eyes, hair was a mess and even her uniform's disarranged. Once again, she can't sleep a bit. Her phone is on fire. She doesn't know how it happened but they post their picture together in the amusement park last night on the school website, which gathers a lot of attention. She didn't bother to bring her phone because it full of text and calls from that man fan girls. Even the murmurs, laugh and stares from those people in the hallway bothers her a lot. Even though she accept his deal, she didn't expect this lot of attention. She feels exhausted to the highest extent than to run after the man she admired.

She shrugs her head in the thought and continues to walk with head bows down. Until a pair of shoes stop in front, it made her stop—head turn up to see who's in front but saw a woman with short brown wavy hair, she's tall and has a slim body but it's her first time seeing the woman. She looks behind her but no one is there so she turns towards her again.

"Do you need something for me?" She said, point to herself.

"You're nothing special. How can Raven fall in love with you? Did you blackmail him? Are you so desperate to have a boyfriend?"

Her eyes almost pop out in shock at those words she said. There's no way she knows what to react or say to lessen the tension. It happens a lot before, but this time those fangirls are way more obsessed and lunatic.

"E-excuse me? Who did I blackmail?"

"Now, you're acting innocent? Hey, Kinrue, listen to me. I'm Loreme Pascal, the President of Raven Auclair fans club, so, on behalf of the members, we're warning you to stay away from him."

"What the hell are you still doing here? Didn't you read my text?"

She got startled when someone behind the woman spoke. A familiar voice that gives chills to her body. The woman's eyes get wide as she turns behind and saw Raven Auclair with frown brows. She forces a smile—step back without breaking a gaze, ready herself to run away from him but before she can move he grabs her bag and drags it somewhere together with her. All people around left hanging as they saw the two interact in personal. Even Loreme, lost for words, only stares at them.

"Argh! What the hell you are doing? Don't you see people are looking at us? I'm not your dog to be dragged off like this so, let go."

"Shut up or I'll push you downstairs."

They went behind the school building where no one was around. He pushes her light in purpose before he leans on the wall with cross arm. Kinrue hissed, fix herself while looking around to make sure no one is eavesdropping. But luckily, only the two of them are present in the area. It's silent too.

"What do you want? Tell it fast before someone might see us again," she asked.

"Didn't you see my text? I told you to open your phone 24/7 just in case something might come up."

She rolls her eyes. "For your information shithead, my phone is burning from non-stop text and call from your fangirls. How can I use it when it irritates me all day?"

"Tsk. Do something about it. Use your empty brain."

"You..."

"Anyway, I didn't drag you here for this non-sense. I just want to warn you with one important rule."

"Rule? Why don't we just make a contract?"

"Contract for what? We're not in some drama or fiction to make one. A single rule is fine."

"What is it then?"

"Whatever happens, never confirm something to anyone about our relationship. Let them think about it. Someday it will benefit both of us so, do what I just said. Do you understand?"

"Fine."

"Let's not see each other around the school as long as we can, okay?"

"Why would I need to see you? I don't even want to see your shadow. If that's all you want to say then, I'll head off..." She's about to walk back inside the building, but Raven stops him. He gets something inside his pocket and put it on her finger.

Her eyes widened in surprise as soon as she noticed it. It's a gold ring with a black linen design and a single small rectangle sapphire stone. It looks expensive, even if she work a full time she can't buy it.

"W-what is this?"

"Wear it every time. We didn't know when or where Molly will pop-out. It's just like she demands something to wear as a couple and give this ring. I told you everything. You can leave."

"Whatever, let's not meet again."

She take her hand back and walk inside the main building again. Those students' stares didn't vanish, but she would try hard to ignore it—stay low as long as she can endure.

This is a temporary act. All she needs to do is find someone to fall in love with, but the thought is hard. She got rejected all this time and nothing works out.
