Asura Town

It's Saturday, there're no classes means no enemy on-sight. Kinrue sits on a bench alone after she takes a jog, wears a sweat pants and black plain hoodie jacket. The weather is nice, it's not hot or cold but something in the middle. Only a few people are in the park along with her, most of them are resting after they jogging. Some are with their pets or friends. A typical normal life of human. She looks up at the sky, the sun just rise an hour before, though there's still some cloud but it looks clear.

A silence lingers on the area, she close her eyes and feels the chilly breeze of air. Both arms spread on the back of the bench, cross both legs and head leaned back. This is the first peaceful day she has, no whispers or murmurs from others, no text, emails or calls from toxic fangirls and most of all, no shithead man on-sight.

"What a peacefu—"

Before she could finish those words, a ball hit her face. In an instant, she came back to reality that never in her entire life the word 'peace' will come of its own accord, even though she begs for it many times. She touch her face with disbelief as she felt a blood fall down from her nose. Even her eyeglass broke from the ball's affect. She removes it while both hands trembles—try to restrain herself from anger.

"Can you pass the ball to me, child?" A voice of a young child lingers on her ears.

She looked in front and saw a young boy, around five or six years old. He's wearing pants, a black-and-white checkered polo, a high-end brand shoe and black plain beanie hat.

"Can't you hear me? Pass the ball,"

"Argh! Why don't you get it by yourself? Shouldn't you apologize first? Where's your parents?" She asked.

"Only my uncle is here with me, where's your parents?"

"Y-you. Don't speak like you're an older one. For your information, I'm already 17 years old." Her voice raised, gaze at him with a menacing look.

"Are you serious? You look like a child because of your height." He chuckles. "You look like an elf,"

"W-what did you say?" Kinrue's right eyebrow raise in annoyance.

"Anyway, pick up the ball and pass it to me."

She clenches her fist, stares at the ball in front of her foot. A sigh left her mouth as she picks the ball and tighten the grip on it. The child reminds him of someone who annoys her so much to death, even in a dream. He's still a nightmare. The child is the same. Her blood boils into high temperature.

"Pass it to me."

"P-pass? Y-yeah, I'll definitely pass this to you, annoying brat." She emphasizes the last word before throwing the ball to him with full force. It hits the child's stomach that made him hold tight into it with a face you couldn't even paint.

"A-argh! It hurts!" He weeps, which gathers a lot of attention.

"Hey Kian, what's wrong? I told you not to walk by yourself." Kinrue flinch when she heard a familiar voice of someone.

"U-uncle. She hit me with the ball. It hurts." The child point to her direction as a familiar figure of man came towards him.

It seems like a bucket of ice cubes pours down to her body when the man turns his head in her direction. A real nightmare of yesterday came. It looks like the world is small, to bump into each other again, even on weekends. The man is no other than the person she doesn't want to meet ever again. It's Raven Auclair. One and only nemesis of hers. He scowls the moment he recognizes her. The child bawls in tears, but their gazes didn't let go of each other as if there's an invisible bolt runs down between it.

"Tsk. It looks like you're related to each other. You both have one thing." She smirks. "A total shit personality,"

"The ugly woman is rude. I hate her." The child shouts.

Kinrue bite her lower lip, walks straight to the child with an annoyed face, but before she can touch him, Raven wraps his arm on her shoulder to pull away.

"Let go of me. I'll discipline that brat." She tries to reach the child, but Raven didn't let go of her. "Argh! I said let go of me shithead."

Her voice raises. She looks at him with an intense gaze.

"Uncle, she'll going to hurt me. She's an ugly monster," he hides behind Raven.

"It's fine Kian, I'm here."

"Huh? What if you're here? Do you think I can't hurt you?"

"Calm down, people are staring at us." She flinches, looks around the area. People near them gaze on their direction while whispering to each other. "Do you know they can report you with a child abuse if you hurt Kian? I guess your empty head can't think of it ahead."

"C-child abuse? But he's the one who hit me with a ball and acts rude."

"So, you want to get revenge on a mere child? You're too childish."

"What?"

"You have a nose bleed..." He's about to wipe it out, but Kinrue slaps his hand away and wipes it.

"Tsk. I couldn't believe my day got ruined again." She mumbles, turn her back to him.

"Do you want to come with us? I'll buy you a new eyeglass."

"Huh? Are you asking me for real? Without even saying a single word, you already know my answer. Let's just forget we saw each other today. Bye."

"I see. We're going to Asura town. I heard it's a new built town for entertainment purpose, there's a lot of food, theaters and many more exciting activities there. Too bad you can't come. See you around, elf." Raven and his nephew walk but Kinrue still processing those words he utter a while ago.

Asura town is a big topic in all social media sites these past few days. It's a newly built town with a lot of food stalls, street performances, colorful street decorations, fun activities and many more that can entertain people. Although she only heard it to Camie and Ashley, since then she becomes curious. The moment reality hits her, without thoughts in mind, she runs towards Raven and pulls his shirt to a stop. He turns to her with a playful smirk.

"What is it?"

"I want to come," she face him with shining, glimmering eyes.

"No. Why would you come with us? It's only me and Uncle, not with an ugly monster like you," the child protest but she glares at him.

"Listen here brat. I'll sew your lips the next time you talk down on me."

"Stop it. Let's go."

There are tons of people even in this kind of hour when they come to the entrance of Asura Town. You can see in a distance the colorful street decoration, it looks like there's a festival every day in this place. Kinrue was about to get her phone to take a picture but remember she never bring her phone since the news of him in Raven came out. But she can't waste the opportunity to brag about all of this to Camie and Ashley.

She turns her look towards Raven. "Hey, can I borrow your phone?"

"Huh? You have your own. Why would I lend you mine? Let's go inside." Both Raven and the child walk ahead.

"H-hey, it's your fault why I can't bring my phone with me anymore. Take responsibility and lend me your phone." She pulls his shirt to a stop, but he gives her a death glare instead.

"Take responsibility? Is it my fault you're a weak loser elf?"

"Y-you."

"Uncle, I want to eat that ice cream."

"Kian, we should eat a proper breakfast first."

The two men walk without looking back or minding her demand. It annoys her, that makes every step she takes heavy while following the two. Both eyebrows frown and giving off an ominous aura. It made those people who pass by her startle, some get goosebumps. Until they reach an eatery shop, she didn't talk or look eye to eye on them.

"There's a variety of food here. What do you want, Kian?" The two look on the menu and choose what food to order, but Kinrue didn't move a bit, only cross both arms while staring outside.

She might look like an immature, spoiled brat but couldn't help it since this is the first and last time she might come to this place. Ever since she live alone, she focuses herself on study and work and barely finds time for leisure. So, if there's a chance to enjoy her freedom then, she'll be glad to accept it and make a lot of memories.

A deep sigh escapes her mouth just thinking about freedom.

"Here." She startles when Raven gives her the phone.

"Why? Are you planning something? Do you want to accuse me? I steal it from you?"

Raven gone speechless at what she said. He knows she's an empty head but didn't know it's advanced too.

"If you don't want to borrow it then, don't." He's about to take it back but in a split of second, Kinrue grabs it and glare at him.

"No take backs,"

"Uncle, is that woman crazy?" Kian asked while looking at her full of judgment.

"She's more than what you expect, don't mind her."

She's about to talk back to them when a flash of camera came from the next table. A sudden shiver runs down through her spine while turning her look towards those people. She gulps and before knowing it, both feet walk towards them with clench fist.

"Hey, where are you going?" Raven asked, following her through look, but Kinrue didn't answer and continue to walk.
