Her Condition

There are many students inside the volleyball club gym when Kinrue came. She looks around to see where the two were and was lucky to see them waving at her on the second row of the bench. Without a word, she cleared her voice and walk towards them. Raven and Renkai's group are on the lower bench preparing for the match. Lunaris is wearing a black and purple men's volleyball uniform while the Solaris wears a white and orange men's volleyball uniform. Even the vice principal is watching and other teacher too.

"Rue, what took you so long?" Camie asked as soon as she sit.

"N-nothing,"

"You're paler than before. Are you sick?" Ashley put her hand on Kinrue's forehead but she slap it away.

"A-ah, T-The play is about to start. L-let's watch." She pointed at the court.

Both Camie and Ashley look at each other, but in the end, they focus on the play. Little did they know that Kinrue's mind was on another dimension, wandering alone. She can hear the cheer sound from both sides as the play starts but couldn't focus. There's too many conversations here and there which make her head dizzy.

"Shenyue is beautiful, but Shenrue..."

"She's beautiful too. Their beauty has its own standard."

"It's been a long while since we last receive news from her. I love her songs, TV series and movie."

"They are really rival, we know Shenyue for doing the same thing, too bad they never face each other before."

"I heard they're about to make a guest in one of the most known entertainment talk shows outside the country, but Shenrue didn't show up,"

Those women in front of them are talking about Shenrue and Shenyue. They can hear it loud and clear. It makes Kinrue uncomfortable. She keeps playing with her finger—biting his lower lip. Even if there's an air-con inside the gym. She's sweating a lot. Her eyes keep looking around. Another loud cheer came. It made her startle but try hard to compose herself. She can't let anyone know that she's Shenrue Himura. All the years she spends hiding herself will be in vain. She's not stupid enough to not think it's a useless act, knowing the one she's hiding with is the Himura family. One day, her freedom will end before she knows it. Until that day comes, she wants to be free from everything binding her. She knows both Ashley and Camie hated the elite family. If ever they know she's one of them, their friendship will no longer exist, though it hurts. The day will come when she needs to accept their world isn't the same to each other.

"One of my father's friends is working with the Himura family. There's a rumor she's already arranged with someone."

"It's sure one of the top 5 elite of elites,"

Kinrue's eyes widen because of those words. Although she has guts, something like that will happen. It's still not right. She clasped her hand, trembling, and look down. A cold sweat falls down from her temple. As the seconds pass, her breathing becomes heavy as if running out of it while those women in front keep talking about the Himura Family.

On the other side, Camie and Ashley notice her breathing heavily. Camie lifts her face up out of worry, but saw it become paler than before. She's sweating a lot and eyes seem out of it. She glance towards Ashley who looks worried too.

"Rue, what's wrong? Let's go to the infirmary if you don't feel well." Camie asked, but no words came out of her mouth.

"She doesn't look good anymore. Let's bring her to the infirmary." Ashley said, and stand up first.

"Can you walk alone? Tell me if you feel lightheaded,"

She saw Kinrue nodded her head so they continue to walk, excuse themselves to other students who watch the game. After coming down from the bleachers, Ashley walks ahead of them while Camie on the back monitors her action. It only took a few steps before Kinrue collapse on the ground. Camie's about to catch her, but it's too late. No one expected her to collapse.

"Kinrue!" the two shouted, they can hear it throughout the gym while those students who see what happened gasps in surprise.

Inside the court where the players are in the middle of set one, notice the commotion at the entrance. They halt the game for a few seconds, checking on what's going on. Amidst of the curiosity of other players, Raven is in the middle, playing as a setter. He looks towards those people while wiping out the sweat on his face.

"What's going on there?" One of their group mates asked.

"It seems like someone collapsed," Mirko mumbles.

"Kinrue!" They heard a voice calling her name, which made Raven flinch.

"Ms. Cienfuegos collapsed. Someone bring her to the infirmary." The vice principal commanded after checking on what's going on.

"Bro, your girl fainted. Are you not worried? We can continue this set for you, comeback later after checking her condition." Mirko patted his shoulder.

"It's fine. It's not like she dies. I'll go see her later." He turns his look towards their opponent again.

"You're a heartless. No wonder she wants to break up with you."

After a few minutes, they resume the game without disturbances anymore.

The match ends well after the fifth set with Lunaris winning with two point's difference. Raven's group celebrated their win against Solaris, but he silently fixing his thing alone. Not until Arisa, Lewis, Shenyue and Renkai walk towards him to congratulate their win. He shrugs his head, gives them a wide grin.

"It's a good match, as usual, Kai." He said.

"Next time, in our official match. I'll beat you bro,"

"Well then, I'll wait for our next match." The two shake their hands.

"Raven, it's been a while since the five of us hang out together. Do you have some free time after class?" Shenyue asked, he look towards her and smile.

"Of course, I always have time if you asked. I need to go check on someone. See you later."

Both Renkai and Shenyue gaze at each other with confuse look.

"Check on someone?" Renkai asked.

"Don't you know, Raven already has a gir—"

"Lewis, you better shut your mouth. I'll just check on someone who needs a lot of attention, that's all." He gives a warn look towards Lewis before he left the gym.

There are still many women outside the gym when he goes out, but ignores it and head straight to the infirmary where Kinrue stays. It's only on the second floor of the main building so, he came in just a short time.

He knocks on the door but no one answer so he enters inside. There's no one around when he came. It's too silent inside and almost no trace of someone. He's about to look at each bed when the door open. The infirmary doctor came with a surprise look but he greeted her.

"What brings you here, Mr. Auclair?" Dr. Rodriguez asked. "Are you hurt somewhere? Not feeling okay?"

"No. I'm fine." He answered. "I'm here for other reason, the el—I mean the troublemaker."

Dr. Rodriguez gives a slight smile before she sits on the swivel chair. "You mean Ms. Cienfuegos?"

"Yeah. Is she still here?"

"Besides, to her friend, you're the second one to ask me."

"Second? Did someone come here?"

"Lorcan came here 15 minutes ago to check on her. She's like a younger sister to him. He cares a lot about Ms. Cienfuegos." He nodded his head. "She's in the last bed over there,"

"Thanks. A-ah... What happened to her?"

"She's not sick, but her friends told me she's breathing heavily before passing out. It happened before too when she just transfer here, it's like a panic attack."

"Panic attack? She's totally fine when I saw her, but..."

"What's your relationship with her?"

He flinches, turns his look away. "I'll check on her,"

He's about to walk but Dr. Rodriguez blurted out something that made him stop. "Ms. Cienfuegos lives alone. She looks like a careless troublesome idiot woman but a fragile, secretive one."

He shrugs his head before he continues to walk towards her bed. She's still sleeping, seems like having a bad dream. There's a sweat on her temple, brows frowning and a tear falling from her eyes. It's not the first time he saw her cry, but still feel strange. His hands move on its own to touch her hair.

"R-Ribbit,"

A sigh escapes his mouth when she mumbles those words again with that painful look. It's the same thing happened way back in his house. Back then, what he said is all lie besides to the Ribbit incident. She never snores, sleeps, talks, or clings to him. The entire night she's having a nightmare. There's a time she woke up shouting and trembling in fear. She only sleeps in peace after he sits beside while caressing her hair.

"You're really a handful one empty head," he mumbles and sits beside her.

A silence lingers in the area, not until a loud voice from outside came rushing towards their direction. The curtain surrounds them open. It's Camie and Ashley holding a lot of food and drinks in their hand. Both of them got shock after seeing each other.

"R-Raven?!" Ashley said in surprise.

"You surprise me. Isn't it a common manner to be silent inside the infirmary?" He gives them a disbelief look.

"A-ah, we didn't expect you to come here, besides..."

"A-argh!" They all look towards Kinrue when she suddenly move. She's about to sit, but Raven pushes her back to lie down.

"Lie down until you feel well, don't need to go to the cafe. I'll talk to Molly so, get a lot of rest and don't faint and scare your friend,"

"A-argh! You're making me feel dizzier shithead," Kinrue protested.

"Tsk. I told you to be good but you know nothing other than to cause a trouble for others,"

"You're not my parents so, stop scolding me like one."

"Stop being a stubborn childish brat or I'll tell Molly what happened here,"

They stare at each other but in the end Kinrue look away and didn't talk back anymore. Raven heaves a sigh before he stands up. He looks to her friend but they only give a way for him to go.

"Tie her if she moves an inch there," Raven said before he walks outside the infirmary, left them dumbfounded.
