Group of Elites

"Rue, are you sure you're fine? We'll escort you home," Camie asked for the nth time.

"I'm fine. Both of you should go home. I'll go in an opposite direction." She pushes the two to walk.

"See you tomorrow then."

Camie and Ashley wave their hands to her so, she did. She watches them walk ahead towards the bus stop before taking a step to nowhere. It's already dark before they knew, there are many people on the street side, and most of them are students like her from other schools. There are many cafes, restaurants and other shop around the place. A famous mall is near too so, people tend to hang out in the area with their friend, family or lovers. This scenery will make her feel less lonely and scared than being in a four corners of her room.

Instead of going home, she prepares to work even though it's hard. Once she stays home, all she remembers is the reality, but being around with other people makes her live in a dream. A deep sigh escape from her mouth as she continues to walk. Until she reaches a one store that sells a lot of DVD's/cd in terms of music or movies. Even outside the store, she can see the poster of Shenrue Himura on her last movie project and next to it is Shenyue Leroux from her last movie. It feels strange to see herself as Shenrue. It's been a long time since the last time she looks at it.

Some students walk inside the shop, looking at their desired DVDs to buy. There's a music playing in the background which you can hear even outside, it's Shenyue Leroux song. She has a beautiful, distinctive sweet voice. Anyone can be a move by just hearing it once. A bitter sweet smile escape from her mouth, about to walk again but a very familiar music play. Familiar melody, lyrics and voice. It's been five years since the last time she heard it, a very nostalgic feeling. Her feet move on its own and walk inside the store.

She looks at the CDs on the shelves. There's also a corner for the top 10 most sold album, she walk towards the direction and saw the 'Memories of Spring', the first and last album of Shenrue Himura. It's on the top spot. She's about to get one of it when someone came.

"Oh, it's you elf." Kinrue almost jump in shock because of that voice. She look behind her and saw the man from before. He's not alone. Behind him are Raven, Lewis, Arisa and Shenyue, who are both in disguise.

Arisa's eyes widened as she notice her but a smile formed into her mouth. "What are you doing here, Kinrue?"

"A-ah... I just pass by." she scratches her head and gives a forced laugh.

"Shenrue's voice is really nice. Yue can't surpass her until now." The man get a CD from Shenrue's album. "Look, she's still on the top spot even though five years passed."

"You're really a fan of Shenrue Himura, Renkai." Lewis said, chuckling.

"Hey guys, I'm not invisible here." Shenyue protested that made the other laugh.

Kinrue gives a force smile, takes a step backward to get out of the place but when she's about to walk in silent someone grabs her wrist. She looked in front out of shock but saw the man before with those angelic innocent smiles. Once again, her heart skip a beat and end up staring at him.

"Are you alone? Why don't you join us? We're going to Asura Town, the more the merrier, right?" He insisted.

Both Lewis and Arisa look at each other before they turn towards Raven, who keeps silent behind them.

"Do you know her, Kai?" Shenyue asked.

"I just know her before, but I think Raven is close to her more... She just call him shithead that was epic,"

"A-ah, T-that... I-It's not lik—"

"Shut your mouth and come with us," Raven blurted out with his annoyed face.

He gives her a death glare. It gives shivers to Kinrue. Those intense stares direct to her as if asking a question, 'What are you doing here? I told you to get rest,' something a mother will say to a sick child. She just look away and didn't say a thing anymore.

In the end, she got dragged to where they headed. In the middle of walking, Kinrue is behind them, just watching how they interact with each other without awkwardness. They are close. Even the cold, heartless Raven Auclair laughs and joke with them. She never seen him comfortable like that with anyone. It seems like she regretted coming with them. She feels out of place. She shrugs her head and looks around the area they heading to but they already reach the bus stop. They're elite. She thought they're going to the parking lot to ride in their own cars, but this was something unexpected to happen.

"It's been a long time since I ride a bus," Renkai said.

"Me too." Arisa added.

"It looks like it's all our first time, but Raven rides a bus before with Kian, right?" Lewis looks towards Raven, who's standing beside Shenyue.

"Yeah."

"How about you, elf?" Renkai excitedly asked.

"I'm always riding a bus to get home,"

All of them look surprised at what she said except to Raven, who didn't but an eye on her. She expected the same reaction. These people are all born rich and riding a bus is something rare to happen. Besides, they are not just a simple rich individual; they are part of the elite of elite's family.

The bus came after a few seconds which divert the awkward atmosphere. All of them went inside and find a spare space to sit. Renkai, Lewis and Arisa are sitting together in the middle part and behind them, Shenyue, Raven and Kinrue sit together. Shenyue is on the window side while Raven is in the middle of them. There's a noise all over, a kid crying and conversation and laughter here and there. A common thing to see inside a public transportation. Amidst of this noise, Kinrue feels like about to freeze because of the intense haughty stare of the man sitting beside her. He's been acting like she's some annoyance or a pest in this group. It's as if he wants to kick her out and has been telling it from the start. Those stares are easy to understand.

She jolted out when his chilly hands touch his ear. Her gaze turn to him this time.

"What are you doing?" She whispers to him, gives a warn look.

"I told you to rest. What are you doing?"

"Who told me to come with your group? Even though he attracts me..."

"He?" Raven raises his voice that made the other people near them look in their direction.

She looked on the other side of Raven and saw the shock face of Shenyue. An awkward smile escapes her lips.

"Is there any problem, Raven?" Renkai asked, who look back at them from his seat.

"N-no."

Kinrue heaves a sigh before she crosses her arm and turns her back to Raven to escape from his question. She just blurted out those words without thinking. If he keeps interrogating about it, he'll definitely make fun of her fragile self again. Being together for a few months made her learn a lesson.

After half an hour ride on the bus, they've reach the Asura Town. There's a big difference when you come here between day and night. Daytime shows the raw beauty of this town, but nighttime shows the dreamlike fantasy beauty of it. There're colorful lights everywhere. It looks like you're inside a kingdom. Even though it's dark outside, the moment you step inside the town, you'll end up feeling in heaven. The sizzling sound of grilled foods, street performers who are livelier during night than day and light, surrounds even the stores. Everything you see here looks like in a fantasy novel, a magic like world. Kinrue's eyes glimmers on what she saw, looks around as if it's her first time to come. All the problems and unnecessary thoughts fade away without even trying anything. Like what she thought, to escape from reality, you just need to step into a selfish dream.

"I-Is t-this the Asura Town? W-wow. It's really beautiful." Arisa said while eyes glimmers too.

"Don't be too excited girls, there are many people around so, better be careful." Renkai said, even though his eyes are shining like the others, too.

The only one who didn't give a damn about the beauty of Asura Town is Raven Auclair. It's not even a surprise, but he's ruining the mood. Kinrue shrugs her head and follows them again while still looking around.

"There's a corn dog stall over there. I'm craving for it. Let's buy," Shenyue said out of excitement, and drag both Renkai and Raven.

"Wait for us," Arisa added while walking after them.

In front of the corn dog stall, they bought one for each but Kinrue didn't accept what Shenyue give to her. They look at her with doubt, but she just gives a force smile.

"I-I'm fine. I'm not hungry," she insisted.

"It's my treat so, accept it will you?" Shenyue asked and give the corn dog, but Kinrue stare at it.

"I hate it," she said in a serious tone. It made them flinch.

"A-ah... W-well..." Shenyue said stuttering and take back the corn dog with an awkward smile.

"Don't mind her. She's just a childish brat. Let's have fun by ourselves." Raven broke the awkwardness and walk ahead of them.

"W-wait Raven, I'll go with you."

"Tsk. What a shithead," Kinrue mumbled to herself and kick the stone she saw out of anger.

"A-Ah... Elf, tell me if you want anything, it's my treat." She looks in front and saw Renkai, but she shrug her head as an answer.

"L-let's go with them instead,"

"Sure."

They continue to follow the four who walk ahead of them. Like what the usual thing to do inside the Asura Town, they try every game booth they saw, watch the live theater play and street performance. They even ride some rides in the town and try any foods they like. It took two hours for them to walk around the area. The look on their faces gives a satisfaction rate, but not to Kinrue. All this time, she's annoyed for another reason.
