On the fifth day of the school anniversary week, all students and teachers gather inside the auditorium for the theater play that some students, including the senior graduating students prepare.
Kinrue, Camie, and Ashley came to watch Lorcan's section. They didn't expect to see Callie being the main lead actress along with Lorcan. Although it annoys her, she already promised him to watch so she just need to endure seeing her face for the sake of her sworn brother in crime.
In the middle of waiting, they heard a lot of noises coming from the students around. Talk here and there as if there's no tomorrow. The three of them feel more exhausted than when they're preparing, so a simple noise makes them irritated. Even though they try hard not to make a scene and ruin the moment of other performers.
Amidst of waiting for the play to start, Kinrue smells something good.
It's a sweet savoring smell of donuts from a certain store. Her eyes sparkle before she can find where it came from. But as soon as she looks beside, her eyes didn't just sparkle, it almost turn to a donut. She glance towards the person holding the box and saw Raven, who's hesitating to sit beside her.
"Sh*thead, I'm hungry!" She blurted out with teary eyes.
"So? I bought this for Callie and not yours."
Her teary puppy eyes face turns to a fierce emotionless one upon hearing her rival's name.
She looks away and clings to Ashley, who's sitting beside her. Raven heaves a sigh and spares a sit apart from her. It doesn't take too much time when the performance starts. The noises around vanished as the narrator's voice resounds the place. One character after another came out from the stage, fulfilling their roles.
The rest of the audiences immense themselves from watching, but Kinrue glare on the stage as if she's about to hunt someone.
Few minutes passed, after Lorcan's scene she started dozing off. It's cold inside the auditorium compare to outside so it's just a perfect atmosphere to sleep. She's about to close her eyes, but she glimpses on Lorcan's direction and he seems enjoying the role play. Although she wants to finish the play, there's no way she can fight her sleepiness besides she barely sleeps after her shift in the coffee shop.
"Ash, I'll go outside."
"Hmm..."
"Finish the play for me, okay?"
"Okay!" She gives an okay sign.
Kinrue glance towards the stage before she stands up. There's no other way but to pass by in Raven's direction, so she heaves a sigh before walking ahead.
Before she could get passed by, someone hold her wrist that made her stop.
It's Raven Auclair.
"Where are you going?"
"It's none of your business. Let go of me. There's another student watching behind." She said.
"Let's go somewhere to eat,"
"No. I want to rest."
"Then let's go somewhere to rest."
She didn't answer, rather look away. Raven talk to his other teammates before he stands up and leads the way out.
No one talks to them while walking in the hallway. It's a long awkward silence. She's striding for a walk as if there's no one behind her and Raven notice it.
"Are you mad?" He asked.
"There's no point in getting mad. I'm just tired."
They didn't talk again and head straight to a vacant room. It's an empty room and an old club room, but they still maintain it clean despite of no one's going there. Somehow, Kinrue and her friends use this place as a resting area.
As soon as they went inside, Kinrue locked the door while Raven roam his eyes around the area. It's a totally empty room. Besides an old small bookshelf in the corner, there's nothing special you can see. He glance back in her direction, but she gets the rolled mat behind the bookshelf and spread it near the window side.
"You're really going to sleep?"
"Am I kidding? I want to sleep."
"What if someone will come here?"
"No one will come here, unless there's a crazy person tries to mess with us. Lie down with me. I can't sleep without hugging something."
Before her words process inside his mind, he got pulled down on the mat. Kinrue silently lies down beside him, uses his arm as a pillow and body as a human teddy bear. He wants to object, but she already closes her eyes.
"Are you tired or mad at me?" He asked, removing her eyeglasses and put it beside.
"Same,"
"I'll buy you tons of those donuts later. Do you want anything else?" Kinrue open her eyes and stare at him.
"You. Since the second day of the school anniversary week, we didn't see each other again. I'm busy fulfilling the role of your girlfriend while you're busy fulfilling your business as a man of that b*tch."
"Are you jealous?"
"I'm not. I'm annoyed, I didn't even receive a prize, even a drink while that b*tch receives all your effort and time."
A smirk form into Raven's mouth. "You want me to spoil you? Not bad."

After a few hours of sleep inside a cozy room, Kinrue wakes up with no one beside her. There's even a jacket covered on her body as a comforter. She sits up with a refreshed mind while rubbing her eyes with index fingers before looking around.
But then, her eyes sparkles as she saw a box of donut balls and strawberry milk drink beside. She took out the note pasted on the floor and read it. 'Eat well, darling.' A playful smile escapes her mouth before she opens the box and takes out one chocolate donut balls.
In the middle of eating, she didn't notice that the door opens. She thought it's a teacher or the old baldy man, but luckily it's only Camie and Ashley, who seems surprise looking at her.
"I thought you already ditch us, Rue." Camie said while locking the door.
"Sorry, I'm out of energy and needed a lot of sleep. How's the play?" She asked and take out another donut ball.
"Kinkin, you look totally different without eyeglasses." Ashley said, sitting beside her.
Her words made Kinrue flinch as she just remember that Raven took it out before falling asleep. She search around her and saw the eyeglass behind. It didn't take another second before she wear it back with an awkward laugh.
"Who's jacket is that? Did somebody else come here?"
"T-the sh*thead came here too. Don't worry, he'll not spread it out anywhere, so we're still safe here."
"You seem getting along, Kinkin."
"Do you think so? We're still the same." She said while laughing awkwardly again, but she notice the serious gaze of the two. "W-What's wrong?"
"He lend you his jacket and even bought you food. Do you know he helps our class to clean up as your substitute? The class president asked him your whereabouts, but he just said you're resting somewhere and just let you be."
"H-huh? Did that sh*thead do it? His kindness might creep you out for real." Kinrue chuckles and offers some donut balls to her friends.
"Before, the two of you didn't look like in a relationship, so I have a doubt about it, but lately, isn't it the two of you acts more like a couple?" Ashley said.
"Can't we stop talking about us? I'm in a good mood, so don't spoil the fun. Okay?"
"Well, since you want to change the subject, I think we made a huge mistake earlier." Camie scratches the back of her head and looks away.
Kinrue glance to them full of innocence, but the two avoid her eyes with an awkward smile. They've been friends for a long time now and these kinds of reaction isn't new to her. It only means the huge mistake they're talking about is a bona fide matter to look for. She heaves a sigh, putting down the donut balls before looking at them with a stern face.
"Spill the beans," she said.
Camie and Ashley glance at each other. "You know, Kinkin... We lose a bet."
"A bet?"
"After watching the play we got bored and were about to follow you here, but one of our classmate who I forgot the name asked us if we want to join them playing a card game. We rejected it, of course, but they made a bet and it's kind of tempting..." Camie explained. "They bet a new launch skateboard and a limited edition high-end bag. We got caught up on our own selfish desires and take the bet game. In the end, we lose."
"A bet is a bet. Why do you need to have such a worried face? You're not thinking of running away, right? Don't worry, as long as you did it, then it's fine. Good luck guys, knowing those people, they have something on their mind for associating with you." She laugh patting the shoulder of the two, but they didn't react and keep their face low.
An awkward silence came in between them as if a crow had just passed by.
Without knowing it, Kinrue seems having a cold sweat because of their indifferent reaction. Her smile vanished little by little as she tightened the grip on their shoulder.
"Y-you. Don't tell me you drag me along with that bet?" she said in a cold, menace tone while glaring at them that made the two flinch.
"Kinkin, spare us for this one. No one wants to come with us and you're the only friend we have. We need your help, my friend. Don't stain our reputation for not backing down. Please, save us." Ashley hug her in an instant, begging to accept it.
"It's just for tomorrow, Rue." Camie gives her a puppy eyes.
"The two of you," she facepalm herself and sigh. "What's the bet?"
"It's a group date. A six to six, she said they're from other school."
"Group date?!"
