Do you want to date me?

"Argh! It's so hot!"

Kinrue sits on the bench at the back of the school building before removing the mascot head.

It's been two hours since their class president assigned her to roam around and pick some visitor to visit their class booth. There's many people around the school since they open the school gate for anyone to visit as long as they have a ticket on them. It's already a school anniversary, and they open it for anyone in three days and the rest it's all for students activities.

Every class has a booth to make from junior to senior. The accumulated earnings from its booth will use as a fund and some for the prize. Since on each grade level, there's a ranking event on who's going to get a highest income in three days will receive a prize. It's a class battle. Before the school anniversary week begin, the student council told the prize to everyone, and it boosted their competitive sides. The prize is three days and two nights vacation in a beach resort.

Everyone gets excited.

But Kinrue forgets the competitiveness of Class 11-B towards the Class 11-A. They even have the same maid and butler's cafe booths. She heaves a sigh as she remembers the long line waiting outside the Class 11-A classroom. The prize isn't bad after a week of hard work, but there's no way they can beat the Class 11-A because of the major faces they have there.

"You seem tired."

She almost jump out from her seat when someone whisper on her ears behind. She looked back and saw Raven in a butler suit. His hair is in a two curtain style, there's also a single earring on his right ear. It's the first time she saw him, fixed his hair like this and it made her speechless.

Raven Auclair, even in a butler suit, he looks more like a prince in disguise. He's cooler and hotter as the two upper buttons of the shirt opens, showing his collarbone.

"Here, I brought you a drink." He gives her a strawberry milk drink before sitting beside her. "Even wearing a cute mascot, you still show your empty head."

"H-huh? What do you mean?"

"I saw you pushed Callie before. Am I wrong?"

"Your eyes aren't bad whenever it comes to your woman. Well, she annoys me." She said and take a sip of the strawberry milk drink.

A silence lingers between them, though they can still hear the noises from inside.

It's rather peaceful here.

In the middle of the deafening silence, Kinrue flinches when his index finger touches her neck. She looks at him with a question mark, but he's staring at her neck.

"It's fading away,"

"Of course it'll fade. How many days did you think passed? Do you know how embarrassed I am when Lorcan sees it? I want to dig my grave and rest there." She blurted out.

"Beside of him, did someone see it?"

"You're annoying bastard cousin and Renren notices it because of my clumsiness."

"Renren?"

"It's Renkai, your friend."

"Tsk. Stop calling him that name. Didn't I tell you?"

"I will going to call him whatever I want. He's my friend now and not yours alone." She gives him a playful smile.

Kinrue thought she win the simple argument because he didn't talk back anymore, but her eyes widened in surprise when Raven leans down closer and give her a kiss on the lips.

He smirked at her before lying down—using her laps as a pillow.

Instead making another commotion, she shut her mouth before she'll regret it and drink again.

A moment of silence lingers between them. Raven grabs her left hand—playing with her fingers while looking at the clear blue sky. Amidst playing with her fingers, he noticed the ring he gave to her before. He unconsciously removed it and put it back again before he intertwined their hands.

"What's wrong with you these past few days? You're acting strange."

"I don't know, I feel restless..."

"Restless? Why?"

"I feel like... You're going somewhere once I take my eyes off of you."

"How come you end up thinking that way? Isn't it common for me to leave once you make that b*tch your official woman?" She chuckles.

Another silence remains between them, and Kinrue notices the sadness in his eyes. She heaves a sigh, giving a faint smile.

"Sh*thead, do you want to go on a date?"

"I'm busy."

"I'm asking you, do you want to go on a date with me?"

"Well, I'd rather take Callie on a date than you."

"You hit it right, that's my man." She pinches his cheeks. "Don't get sad when I'm not around you, rather be happy because if that time comes, it means you already have what you wanted, and it's the b*tch."

"How about you?"

"What about me? I'm free to do everything I can and fall in love with someone anytime and anywhere. Isn't it exciting to do?"

Raven frown because of the words she blurted. He sits properly—cornering her on the bench out of nowhere as he leans closer and kisses her again.

Kinrue didn't expect it, although it's just a quick one.

"What the hell is your problem now, sh*thead?" She asked, glaring at him with furious eyes, trying to push him away.

"Harassment. Isn't it exciting?" He asked.

He sneered before raising her chin to look at him. They stared at each other for a few seconds before he kiss her again.

This time, it's not a quick kiss, rather a passionate one. As she open her eyes in the middle of the kiss, their gaze accidentally met. Out of nowhere, she feels her heart beats going faster than its normal one.

The fierce gaze of the man in front as if he's swallowing him to nowhere without escape, the gentle touch of his hands on the back of her nape gives tons of bolts that bring shivers down her spine and the passionate kiss they've shared as if she's melting him away.

Everything is new to her.

She didn't know the reaction she needs to convey. It's making her crazy.

They keep panting as they separate from each other. Kinrue couldn't raise her head out of embarrassment and lean to his chest. She can still feel his lips touching hers and her heart doesn't stop from beating fast.

"Your ears... It's getting red again." Raven mumbles while touching it.

"I-It's because you're embarrassing me so much."

"Okay, I'm sorry for doing so." He laughed and hug her while patting her back.

"Stop kissing me because you like it. I'm too tired to argue with you, so be thankful."

"Okay, thanks for that wonderful service."

"You..." She slightly shoves him, giving a death glare.

"Let's have a date."

"Huh? Out of nowhere? Are you trying to change the subjec—"

"Sort of, but I just want to date you. Will you come with me?"

"When and where?"

"Try to tie a rank on our section. Let's use the prize to have a date. Isn't it exciting?" He pulls her again to give a tight hug. "You can do it, right?"

"Are you kidding me? I have a terrible reputation in this school after the morning assembly a few weeks ago. What do you expect me to do?"

"I trust my woman's will," Kinrue gets flustered upon hearing his words.

"Who's your woman here? You're making my head aches so much..."

Raven didn't say a word anymore and just laugh.

Little did they know that there's someone watching them from the hallway of the ground floor main building.

It's Arisa Haruna and Lewis McLaw, who get assigned to search for Raven.

They saw everything the two did, though they didn't hear what they're talking about. Even though they're in a hurry to call him, they don't have the courage to step in between the two. There's always a different vibe whenever those two seen together. Neither's a lover nor an enemy of each other. But now, watching Raven laugh without care in his surrounding made their worry washed away.

Ever since the accident happened, they saw the most painful downfall of Raven. No one wished to see him act like before among their circle of friends.

"Don't you think, since Kinrue came into his life, Raven seems turning brighter than before?" Lewis said.

"Well, I-I think so."

"We don't know what's their certain relationship is, but anyone who can see them now will only notice one thing." Lewis gives a vibrant, genuine smiles as he gazes in Raven's direction. "The two of them seems like really in love with each other."

"Hey, what are the two of you doing there?" They almost jump in shock when someone touch their shoulder and came in between them. "Oh, Raven! The class president's searching for you and there you are flirting."

His words startle Lewis and Arisa and, without hesitation, they hit his head with their fists out of instinct.

"Y-you. Are you f*cking idiot? Can't you read the situation you're in?" Lewis said to Mirko, who's caressing the part they hit.

"W-what's the situation? It hurts dude, I thought a stone hit my head."

"You deserved it, dumbass," Arisa mumbles, facepalming herself.

"What are the three of you doing here?" They all look in front and saw Raven standing with annoyance while Kinrue follows behind him, holding the head of a mascot.

"The class president's searching for you." Lewis said.

"I see. Did I even take that long?" Raven looks at his wristwatch.

"Dude, your friend's crazy. They suddenly hit me out of nowhere. You should scold them." Mirko point out the two while hiding behind him.

"Stop acting like a child and hit them back." The four of them look in Kinrue's direction, but she just smile. "Anyway, I need to work extra hard, so I need to leave. But before that, give me a kiss."

"H-huh?" Raven got surprised by her words, but as soon as their gaze met, his reaction change. He unconsciously touches her face before leaning closer. They're an inch away from each other, but a playful smirk form into his mouth and kisses her on the forehead instead. "Work extra hard,"

"I didn't expect it. Well, it's fine. See you around, guys." She waves her hand before walking back into their room.

"W-What's the meaning of this dude? You're really dating Kinrue out of all admirers you have?" Mirko asked.

"Who knows? Let's go back."

"What kind of answer is it? How about Callie? I thought you like her too?"

"Mirko, you should know when to stop working your mouth. You're annoying, dude." Lewis said.
