Chapter-7: Bargo Mines

3rd POV

After some time traveling, John and Athena have reached the Bargo mines.

"Let a guard enter first" John added.

A guard entered within the mine and made sure the place is clear. Everyone entered within the mine.

"What do we need, Mr smith " Athena asked him.

"A bit of copper and silver ores will do. Who knows what minerals can we find here " The blacksmith said.

"We can find copper, bronze, silver, gold, ruby, and sapphire here. " John said.

"Too bad there aren't any diamonds we can find here. Diamonds are indeed expensive. " Athena said.

"We will mine for copper and silver ores. If we find ruby, gold, sapphire we can sell them in the market for great fortune " John said.

Athena ordered her workers to mine for minerals within the cave. They have picked up their pickaxes and begun to smash the boulders present in the mine to mine for minerals.

"Does anyone has knowledge of metallurgy? We can use that information here " Athena requested.

"Aye! I know about it don't worry. I know how to remove metal from ore, so don't worry. Just give me ores " The blacksmith Mr.Smith said.

"So you expect us to work for mine," Athena said with disbelief.

"Aye. I can't craft and mine simultaneously. It will tire my body very much. I can't handle that much strain." Mr smith said.

"What about you John " Athena asked him.

"I will pick up the ores and the minerals I could find here. I pick up the foraging task " John said.

"Do I have to mine in this dirty mine too? That idea is seriously disgusting " Athena protested.

"It will make things easier for you. The faster you mine the faster we leave the place " John said.

"Fine, Just because it will make things easier. I can't believe I am doing this labor work. I have to take a long shower when we get home " Athena said.

"Yeah, you definitely should, do it " John said as he decided to pick up the minerals and ores in the mines.

"Easy for you to say. You don't have to use strength at all " Athena said.

"W-Well.....I am not known for strength. That's the reason I took up an advisor role. " John said reluctantly.

Athena decided to mine furiously.

Athena POV

Come on Athena you can do this. Just smash the boulders like you should smash the cultivator's face. I still can't believe I am doing this.

I should have taken the foraging work. It's much more graceful than this labor work. But I have to do this fast so we can leave this dirty place.

We have so many workers mining in this place, and yet I am not satisfied. More mining means more minerals we can find. More minerals mean more weapons and gold. More of that will make us win battles.

I have a plan. I will mine furiously and take some short breaks whenever necessary. I am not the only one who is mining here. So taking short breaks is indeed necessary so that I don't break myself out.

John POV

This is indeed bad. I can hardly find anything forgeable except a few things.

3rd POV

John and Athena worked hard with their team. After a few hours they have gathered a huge number of minerals and ores.

"Huh *Pant* We did it " Athena said.

"Yeah *pant* we have 125 silver ores, 150 copper ores, 57 gold ore, 75 sapphires, 78 rubies, 155 bronze ores. We have found 10 adamantine minerals too along with 46 quartz. " John said.

They have put the minerals and ores in the wagon and talked with the blacksmith.

"I guess I will start working once we have reached your palace. I hereby officially have joined your team " Mr Smith said.

"Our first ally. " Athena said.

"A blacksmith," John said.

They took a long rest before they can travel back due to mining. They are tired and fatigued due to the hard work they have done.

John and Athena have begun to travel back to their hometown stopping between several towns to take rest due to fatigue.

3rd POV

"Finally, at last, We have reached Mira, our homework. Let's enter the noble house of Darcy for the official registration of our supplies and members. We have recruited a lot of people over our journey " Athena said.

"We should take rest before we could plan our next scheme," John said.

"Precisely, I am going to take a short evil shower in my room. So my room is off-limits for a while," Athena said.

"Is there a reason to say that? " John said.

John too has decided to take the shower.

John entered his room and entered in the bathroom with a bar of soap and a bucket along with a towel. He turned on the tap and has begun to scrub soap on his body.

The bathroom is a 60*54*52 meters room with blue curtains to cover the bathtub. There is a small hole to send the waste water into. And a white washbasin with a tap. The tiles on the floor are blue mixed with yellow as designed per John's instructions.

On the other hand, Athena's room is mostly black, red, and dark themed to make it more like a villain's lair as Athena called it

John POV

That went more smoothly than I have thought. Why is this girl obsessed with being a villain? And yet she treats me differently than she does to others. Why is she planning to take over the world?

What difference it makes compared to what we did in my old life. What new order we will make in the new world?

I am glad she isn't like one of my ex-girlfriends. She doesn't pick up on me as everyone did. I don't want to become angry and lose my control again.

I should have control and make sure he never gets out and takes control of me. It's so irritating to think of him.

Baths are relaxing and comfortable. It gets rid of my stress easily. I can feel relaxed and reenergized again.

This is indeed a good thing I have time for these things. I couldn't help but think about what would be my life if Bryon didn't pick me up and accepted me.

I wonder what he sees in me to quickly take me inside his house and make me join his house. What does he have in mind? Something is sketchy for sure.

I think he might have found his existence of him inside my mind. He figured out the power level I am suppressing and has potential inside me. I think that's the reason he has picked me up.

I have stopped thinking at this point and have decided to concentrate on bathing and relaxing here.
