He opened his eyes wide and seemed really shocked.. I can't blame him. A normal person wouldn't know him with just his name.. there could be thousands of Ellios. Now I really regret asking at loud. Damn it.
"Answer me." he insisted and had a hostile attitude. Shit.
"So.. well… yes. I do know you, your highness." I looked away trying to avoid his stare and bowed showing my respects. He was a person of high status after all and.. the protagonist of this world.
"You.. what do you think you're doing? Get up!"
And what's with that 'your highness' nonsense!" He blushed and seemed embarrassed by what I did and what can I say..his reaction was not like I expected. It's kind of cute.
"I- I'm leaving and don't you dare follow me!"
"Wait don't go! We're supposed to be called in less than 2 hours so why not stay and pack our things together.."
"None of your business!" the door was harshly shut. It was a huge door meaning he was quite strong.
Me trying to stop him was a lie by the way. I only did it to seem less suspicious plus I needed time on my own to try and process all this so to summarize.. I just met the protagonist. However I don't understand why I am meeting him right now.. he's currently in his early teens. Even after he went back in time, his childhood was never a arc in the original novel. Is this like the exposition? Before the actual story? Most likely.
I grabbed a book and sit at a table next to my new bed. It was a random book I brought along with me. What I was planning on doing was to write all I remember about the novel in order to not forget anything later on. The book had words, it was a novel to be exact. In order to blank the pages I used magic. It's something similar to restoration. It would bring things back to its original state. I didn't think it would work but surprisedly, it did.
Mmm.. so where do I begin.. "Ellios Return".
A romance&action novel about a man who got betrayed by the person he loved the most. He went back in time after his unfair death with the chance of obvious future sight and changed the future.. he fell in love with a new character and took his revenge towards the royal family killing them each and his ex lover too. However he also died in the end. Along his new lover. Sooo..basically everyone died.
The protagonist, Ellios, got a sudden sickness that brought his death and next followed his wife, Elizabeth, committing suicidal after loosing him. It was a drama and tragedy novel with many plot twists. Not to mention the ending felt so..unfinished. It made no sense.
Which made me mad back then because it had so much potential..the story was still pretty nice with lots of action and well I wasn't happy back then. I even wrote the author a comment saying;
"The ending sucks! Why didn't you give him a happy ending? He went through so much and all for what? Just to miserably die? Make it make sense!"
....anyways .
After that, I left and my plane ended up crashing. Hold on.. don't tell me this was the karma of my comment? Dying and being brought here..Is the author after this? Son of a bitch.
Sigh now continuing with the summary, the protagonist and his ex lover did meet at a Academy but it was just a short setting. The novel had a time skip and only gave a few scenes about it.
"His name was Asher, a beautiful boy with silver hair and eyes, long eyelashes and soft skin. A beautiful boy whose background was mysterious. He has known Ellios since the first day at the academy. Through the years they both grew together leading to not just close friendship but romance between each other…" A quote that described the ex male lead and traitor.
I think it was something like that. Asher was the boy Ellios loved the most, but Asher decided to side with the Royal Family and choose the prince instead. It was sort of a love triangle which I have no idea how it even ended up like that. The prince didn't even appear much. The conflict between Ellios and the royal family was mainly with the Emperor himself so that took me off guard. In the end, Ellios got sentenced to death after being framed by Asher and the royal family.
I should start figuring out my situation now. I am Sebastian, a person whose name was never mentioned in the novel and I am the protagonist's roommate for some reason…. what the fuck?
*******
A hour passed and I got a headache from so many thoughts going all over my mind.
Come on.. try and remember.. try and remember.. try and remember.. try and remember..oh!
That's it! I got it! The reason why I'm here that is.
"The way Ellios and Asher met was pure coincidence. Ellios was a weak boy who couldn't even talk to a person properly and suffered all his life. At that time, his first roommate ever was one of the bullies who bullied him. Ellios couldn't stan him and after some time of endurance, he decided to change dorms and that's when he met Asher."
I remember now. So it turns out I am THAT bully. Afterwards, the bully, in other words me, ended up leaving and being replaced by Asher. Thus they became roommates. Makes sense now. But you're telling me I am faded to bully him and torture him? There's no way I'll do that.
Something for sure is, this is not Ellios's second life. Meaning this was his past self.. he will live a life until 26 and come back 6 years later which is where the story starts.
That's over 10 years.. I took a big breath and asked myself.. what do I do now? should I do my role as the bully? or should I change the plot? The story is clearly on my hands. if I stop them from meeting, it would change the entire story. And the way to do that would be to avoid bullying him.
In the end.. I decided to change the story.
