Chapter 86: Don’t badmouth Noah

Noah screamed in frustration as he lunged at Fenrir, attempting to tackle the massive creature. To others, Fenrir might appear as a terrifying beast, but to Noah, he was just a clumsy, oversized ball of fur.

Noah's attempt to tackle Fenrir accomplished little beyond getting his face pricked by the creature's hard, dried-blood-encrusted fur. Despite his failure to move Fenrir, his actions did make Fenrir stop and look at him in confusion, wondering why his alpha was suddenly showing him affection in such a peculiar manner.

"You eat too?" Fenrir seemed to 'ask,' making a strange, disgusting retching noise. To Noah, Fenrir's communication sounded perfectly clear, like plain speech, whereas to anyone else, it would be mere growls and grunts.

With a sickening lurch, Fenrir regurgitated the contents of his stomach, spilling some of the partially digested eggs he had eaten. He nudged the mess toward Noah, as if offering to share his meal.
