Angga & Berlin

"Hahaha! Haaachiihhh!"

"Why, Van? The allergy flared?"

"No. Btw, is the rescheduling done?" Evan asked, then sat beside Angga who was still struggling with his laptop.

"Its say, if you sneeze, it's a sign that someone is talking about you," said Angga with a small laugh.

"Aren't the ears red or hot? Eh, what the hell are you even talking about this. How about you, have you rescheduled yet?" Evan asked again.

"Haha, ready my Boss. Everything is OK. Tomorrow, I go to the orphanage around nine in the morning. I immediately came to the location without making an appointment with them first. Just anticipate it."

Evan nodded in agreement, then decided to lean his back against the sofa. Suddenly, the conversation he had with Haidar this afternoon crossed Evan's mind again.

The problems about building supermarkets have started to emerge. That means, there will be another new problem that Evan and Tim must be ready to face.

This time, the situation seems to be a bit complicated because someone else is spreading bad rumors about its working program. And unfortunately, Evan doesn't even know who the culprit is. However, according to the advice given by Angga, he agreed to focus more on solving the problem, not on the problem itself.

"Evan? Van, do you sleep?" Angga's greeting broke Evan's thoughts. He changed his sitting position to be straight again.

"Why?"

"If you're sleepy, just sleep in your room. Not here. No one moved to the room."

"Who do you want to transfer to," said Evan, not wanting to lose.

"I have a question, Van."

Angga closed the laptop which was already off, then he moved to sit next to Evan.

"How is Berlin? I feel like it's been a long time since I've seen you two call each other?"

The question left Evan silent for a moment and he didn't answer right away.

"Even if you don't want the matchmaking, you can't keep acting like this, Van..."

Angga took a breath before continuing to speak again. Meanwhile, Evan already knew where the two of them were talking.

"I'm so busy and tired, Ngga," said Evan unsolicited.

"Yeah, I know. But, don't ignore a message or call from Berlin. I'm also tired of constantly telling and explaining about your condition to her. Just say goodbye if for example the next few days you are busy. You'll be in touch again when you're done. Done, right?"

Evan was still silent and didn't give a response.

"She said that she wanted to be united so that the match could be canceled. But if there is no effort, is it possible that it will work? What you have is going to hurt the girl, Van."

"Then what should I do? I have no obligation to Berlin, Ngga. I only have two tasks, namely to finish the work here and after that cancel the arranged marriage plan with Berlin. Have you? I'm not responsible for always being there for her."

Angga was silent for a moment hearing Evan's answer, which was indeed true. The young man did not have full responsibility to always be there whenever Berlin contacted.

Evan had a lot to do and think about. And Berlin, of course, is only a small part of the tasks that are not obliged to be carried out by his friend.

But what he meant by saying this to Evan, was to appreciate Berlin who was never too late to pay attention to the young man.

"Even so, you should still respect her, Van. You just say when you're busy, right? Don't be ignored or ignored for days until she thinks you're seriously ill." Angga again tried to explain to his best friend, but still, Evan chose to remain silent.

"What's wrong with you? Is there a problem with him that's why he's lazy? Or are you busy thinking about other girls, so you're not interested in anyone anymore?" This time, Angga's tone softened a bit, even the look in his eyes seemed to tease Evan.

"What the hell, geez. Yes, yes, I'll call Berlin later. After all… without me saying anything, she already knows and understands. Don't be fussy!" Evan grumpily answered, but not in a high tone.

"Why me? Every day she send a message to asking how you are. This is the reason why I invited you to discuss this. Let it be good. She doesn't always understand how busy you are," replied Angga, a little emotional.

"Listen, geez. It's not me who is worried about Berlin, but you. You're the one who doesn't realize it." Evan firmly said that which succeeded in keeping Angga silent.

"With a little time I reply to chats or receive calls from Berlin, I just give her more time to be close to you, so I can communicate with you too," added Evan again.

"And actually, you're annoyed because you don't accept my attitude that doesn't seem to respect Berlin, right?" So many words were said by Evan, after a long time he refrained from saying directly about this fact.

Evan knows that the man Berlin likes is Angga. He began to realize this fact when he saw the gestures and intimacy between his friend and Berlin. At first, it was just Evan's feeling.

However, slowly things became clearer when Evan returned to investigate that all this time, Berlin had always asked about Angga and even paid more attention to his best friend.

Likewise with Angga, who, perhaps without realizing it, has grown a sense of love and sympathy for Berlin. Evan could see that from the way Angga talked to Berlin. Not only that, it was very clear from the look in his net that there was love for Berlin there.

"Have you ever asked yourself how you feel? Specifically about Berlin?" Evan asked again when he didn't get any response from his best friend. His tone began to soften.

"Since when did you have that thought?" asked Angga with a change of accent following Evan.

"This is not just a thought, but the result of observation," replied the friend firmly.

The corner of his lips lifted. But his eyes were instead staring at the ceiling of the room as if he was trying to compose a word he wanted to convey to Evan as a response to this conversation.

"I can't even find the right words to describe how I feel about Berlin, Van. Too complicated." Finally, he answered.

"But, you are love Berlin, aren't you?"

Angga fell silent again.

"Maybe it's time for you to reflect on your feelings about Berlin, Ngga," added Evan again, patting his friend's shoulder gently, then he rose from his seat.

"I'm going to my room, okay? It's because no one wants to move when I fall asleep," said Evan again, who immediately received a light kick from Angga.

"Ress you!" cursed Angga laughing, then let Evan leave him alone. After that, he decided to lie down on the sofa first, before heading to his room. He was not yet sleepy, especially after hearing his friend's brief speech about Berlin earlier.

Of course, Angga thought about what Evan said about Berlin. If he look back and think about it, so far the girl has always been asking about Evan. However, he also never forgot to ask and pay more attention to him.

Angga also knows that he has a crush on Berlin. However, for some reason, everything would be complicated if he confessed his feelings. Angga also doesn't know why, but it feels like there's something wrong.

"Why… ah, why do I even feel bad?" muttered Angga to himself.

"Shouldn't I be happy that Berlin has a crush on me? Doesn't that mean my feelings are reciprocated too? But still, it felt like something was bugging and an ominous feeling about this. Arrgghhh… why are you so dizzy, Angga?!" Again, Angga had a monologue with himself, then scooped his skillet roughly like a frustrated person.

He reached for his cell phone which was on the table. There was an incoming message from Berlin to which he had not had time to reply.

Angga: Sorry for the late reply, Lin. Earlier, I was a bit busy making a reschedule for Evan. Have you slept yet?

Sent.

Not long after, a new message notification was heard from Angga's cellphone. Berlin replied to his message.

Berlin: Never mind, Angga. I'm not sleepy, just finished reading a book. Evan is sleeping or is he with you? Oh yes, Btw ... he said uncle Jho will come tomorrow, right?

Seeing the reply message, Angga instantly remembered what his best friend had said. Berlin always asked about Evan but he didn't forget to ask about himself either.

Angga: Lin, how about calling? Can't you?

Just as the message that Angga sent received a report sent, Berlin immediately called him first. Angga intended to call.

"Why are you calling right away? I shouldn't be." Without further ado, as usual, Angga immediately threw a friendly protest at Berlin, which successfully made the girl laugh.

"You asked for it, Ngga," she said.

"Yes, yes, I want to make sure first you can or not. Hehe, hurry up, ma'am."

"Hey, yeah. As long as you're not sleepy, Ngga."

The conversation flowed smoothly, occasionally they joked with each other and laughed together. Unknowingly, the night started to get late and Angga decided to end the call so that Berlin could rest.

"Berlin, before I hang up the phone… may I ask you something?"
