AUTHOR'S POV.
They were in the mall for shopping, while Daisy sat in the balcony as usual writing her heart out in her diary. She was also staying at home since a long time, she was also home sick but Alex didn’t asked her to join them, not even once.
Alex held Sasha’s hand tight as if she was a child and would run away if he leave her. They laughed, joked and it felt like old days had returned.
“I want to buy some personal stuff, you can wait for me in the cafeteria.” Sasha exclaimed, leaving Alex’s hand but he immediately held her again and replied, “Why? I can come with you.”
“Alex, what had happened to you? I want some personal stuff.” She arched her brows towards the lingerie shop to her left.
Alex's ear turned red as he scratched the bridge of his nose, trying to figure out a way to have a look on her.
She jerked his hand and said, “I won’t take a long time.”
“I will be waiting for you here, please return back soon.”
He waited patiently for Sasha to finish her job but he couldn’t stop worrying.
He called Sasha for the tenth time, “Done?”
“Woah! Buddy you have called me for tenth time in just ten minutes. If you keep on disturbing again and again I won’t be able to complete shopping till midnight.”
“ Fine I won’t call now but please be quick and if anything unusual happens, give me a ring okay?”
She shook her head and ended the call. This guy is being over-over possessive now. He was unbelievable.
“Hello, can you do me a favor?” A Russian girl asked Sasha, she was tall and Sasha felt a little uncomfortable with her but as it would be rude to say a no she gave her a nod.
“Please come with me here.”
Sasha followed her to the corner after debating with her thoughts for a thousandth time. That girl felt like a danger to her but wasn’t she known for her abilities to face danger?

Alex glances at his watch and already half an hour had passed since Sasha went in. Several thoughts invaded his mind. What if she is in danger? What if he finds her?
He pulled out his phone, calling her number but it was switched off. The fear in his heart spiked as he wiped the sweat from his upper lip. A drop of sweat tripped down the back of his neck. He rushed into the girly store, searching for her.
“Sasha.” He called out softly but she was nowhere to be seen.
“Have you seen a girl with hazel baby cut hairs? She is a wearing a black top and a mini skirt.” He asked the lady in charge of the shop.
“Oh yes, she was here till now” she rummaged her eyes around and said, “where did she went, just 10 minutes ago I saw her talking to that Russian brunette.”
His steps went back as he heard the word Russian. ‘Is it possible that the girl she was talking about be Salazar’s gang member?’ He thought. His face went pale as he but his lips to control himself.
“Sasha!” He started yelling her name and ran all over the shop like a lunatic. On the other hand he kept on trying her phone but it was off.
Panic thoughts shot through my head like bees in a beehive rattled by a hungry bear.
He rushed out of the shop and searched for her all over. Running pass the clothes, pushing everyone and everything that came in his way. He was panting.
“Sasha!” He yelled at the top his lungs.
He called her once again but her phone was still off, he threw his face on the ground in annoyance. Pulling his hair he yelled her name in the middle of the crowd, His eyes roamed all around the place but she was nowhere to be seen. He felt like a homeless man who lost each and everything in a calamity.
“How can I be so dumb! How can I lose her? What have I done.” Alex cursed himself as his legs started shaking. He slumped on his knees as a lone tear escaped his eyes. Alex wasn’t someone to cry. No matter how hard the situation would have been he would either be furious and hit everyone around or break things but he never cried until today. When he was broken into pieces. He was despair, he felt disdain. He lost her. He buried his face in his palms and let her temples fall on his leg. He found her. His fear turned to reality. ‘Why, why did I left her alone? I could simply enter the shop with her. My shyness snatched her from me.’ He sobbed.
His heart felt numb as his whole body was paralyzed until a hand landed on his shoulder. Her smell of vanilla filled his senses he looked up to meet her puzzled face. Her eyebrows were knitted as she had a gleam on her face.
“Sasha!” He held her arm, and touched his face before pulling her closer to his heart. Her body froze. The sudden response from him untied several knots of emotions in her body. She was confused. Seeing him in this state, crying for her, paralyzed Sasha.
“Alex.” She whispered but he hugged her tighter as if his life depended on her. He sobbed hiding his face under the crook of her neck. She hugged him as a set of raw emotions rose in her body. His warmth drove her crazy and she felt like it was the moment she had been waiting for. She could feel the love, the care emitting from him but was it real? Because she had felt this previously but instead of expressing his love to her he engaged someone else. It was hard for her to trust her instincts again.
“Where the hell were you?” He cried looking straight in her eyes, “You almost took my life.”
She stared in her gray eyes, that were red now.
She wiped the tear from his cheek and murmured, “Why were you scared for me Alex? Why do you care so much for me?”
He was taken aback by her question. He had answer for her questions but as usual he left them unanswered.
“Where were you Sasha?”
“I was in the restroom.”
“What? The lady said you were talking to a Russian and why is your phone off? I thought you are in danger.?” He blabbered panting heavily.
“Alex, the battery was dead and yes I talked to her, she needed my help to zip up her dress so I went with her in the changing room but after that she left. I felt an urge to use the restroom so I did and when I returned to the counter to pay for these the lady told me that you was searching for me. I...” she sighed, “But what is wrong with you Alex? Why are you behaving like this! Come on I am a grown up why do I act like I am a child and someone is going to kidnap me.”
His eyes widened and he placed his hand on her lips. “Dare you say that again.”
“Come on. Look at your face.” She removed his hand and scolded, “From when did you start caring for me so much?”
He gulped a huge lump in his throat. A mere thought of losing her blew his mind but he was relieved that she is fine. He thought what would have happened if she was-
He shook of the thoughts and stood up, “let’s go.”
He walked out of the mall holding her wrist. All the eyes were on them. As soon as they left the crowd and entered the desolated parking lot, Sasha whispered, "Do you really care for me Alex?"
"Of course I do." Alex replied nonchalantly while settling her in the car. Sasha's heart was dancing, she could feel the hope rising in her heart. She was forced to believe that the feelings she felt emitting from Alex, the love and care she saw in his eyes before and today wasn't fake. He really cared for her. She wants to interrogate him, know about his feelings, want to hear those three magical words from him but she was scared, that maybe her expectations would just crumble and she will be left with a damaged heart again.

SASHA'S POV.
Alex took me to a five star restaurant. This place was one of our favorite place before. Like a gentleman he was, he opened the car door for me as I stepped out of the car, taking his hand. Gold lights, Italian furnished marble and stylish dining, everything was up to the mark. Alex guided me on the stairs, towards the terrace. He chose the private table at the end from where we can see the sunset. This was the best part of this restaurant, whenever we really wished to celebrate we would come here and choose the same table and cherish the spectacular sunset with their trending strawberry milkshake before dinner. We used to spend hours with each other at this table.
I giggled as he stained his moustache with the milkshake, he grinned at me and I couldn't help but capture him in my phone. This child in front of me, started making weird faces, posing for the pictures. His smile, his happiness was what I had missed. Everything was spectacular, everything was perfect, just like before. There were no worries in our life, no stress, no complaints, no heartbreaks and no Daisy. Leaving all the grudges aside, I enjoyed myself with him. It may feel wrong but I loved it. I wish Daisy had never crossed his life, it would be me and Alex forever and ever.

"You both are back." Daisy smiled, "Let's have dinner, I made your favorite food Alex, my signature red sauce pasta and chocolate mousse shots."
Alex scratched the bridge of his nose, "Sorry." he apologized, "I would have informed you that we already had our dinner." he stuttered, "but don't worry, I will definitely have the pasta in the breakfast."
Daisy gave him a nod and with those puppy eyes she asked, "I hope you haven't ate the desert, won't you at least try the mousse?"
A burp left his mouth and he immediately covered his mouth with his hand. He passed his hand in his hair and said, "I will burst if I try to eat anything."
Daisy faked a smile and escaped in her bedroom. I felt bad for her but can I do anything to help her out?
