That day, I also figured out the mystery about the necklace around my neck. That lady boss, who still hadn't introduced me, bluntly told me that she specially found a few men to create this locket to keep me from running away.

The thing was, she can unlock and lock my powers using this locket anytime. So for practicing, she had unlocked a little bit of power so that I could learn new techniques from the book the lady boss sent me. But after spending a few days at the hunter's building, I heard a few rumors going around about me that made me both angry and anxious enough to cry.

"Have you heard?" I heard a girl whispering something to a man while roaming around in the garden. I had just passed the corridor when I heard this, and quickly hid myself to hear out of curiosity. "There's a rumor going on around American vampires because of what happened that day!"

"What rumor?" The other man whispered back in confusion.
