Chapter 60

“No, Tristan!” I screamed out while still holding on Cassie tightly.

“Tyler, go,” she said softly while pushing me away gently.

“Are you sure?” I asked and her cheek with my thumb.

“Yes go, see if he's okay,” she spoke more firmly this time.

I nodded and immediately ran over to my father, who was now crouched over my brother's body. I put my hand on his shoulder then looked at Tristan. He was absolutely covered in black and purple bruises. he had a massive black eye that had swollen shut. He was covered in blood and I couldn't even work out where it was all coming from. There were also five slices that sunk deep into his ribs.

“We need to get him back to the house, now! Dylan call ahead to the Dr,” my father shouted out when he picked up my brother's lifeless body.

He cradled my Tristan like he was a baby and began walking him through the river.

“Yes, Alpha!” Dylan replied, but as my eyes met his, I could tell by his face that he knew my brother was gone.
