Freya's life was one that many girls have dreamed of. The kind that people wrote novels about. Hers was a story about an average high school girl who fell in love with her best friends gorgeous older brother. Tristan Cole was popular, handsome and athletic. But as quickly as they had started laughing, they then ceased, as they watched my pack turn to the young waitress and give her their undivided attention. I turned to look at the jerks behind me and their jaws were on the floor. The young waitress began to take the tables orders, and as soon as she finished she turned and walked back towards her manager with a new spring in her step. The manager scowled at her, and then he and his pet stormed off. The young waitress had a face full of pride and a new found sense of confidence as she made her way to the kitchen.


I walked over to join my pack, Traian stood up instantly. He pulled out the chair that was in between him and his brother, and ushered for me to sit. I looked up at him and smiled sweetly, Marik stood up too and they both stood there patiently waiting for me to sit. I wasn't used to this kind of treatment, but I guess I could get used to it. 


“Thank you,” I said quietly to them both as I took my seat.
