The Oath

An emergency notice was declared and I was notified of 50 wild boars who were rushing towards this village. I shouted out loud to aware everyone.

"Hey, be ready for battle. Wild boars are attacking. They are strong. Be ready." (William)

To my response, they all ignored me and didn't pay attention. But I went towards the place the system instructed me to. It was north of the village.

I took out my sword and just when I was about to call the leader, the system recommended I follow the instructions.

After hearing about the plan, I was satisfied. With a faint smile, I went towards the centre but. As I entered, there were no guards. Everything there was were few people.

First of all, there was Dillon, the leader. Then, four weird-looking people. Two we're males and two females. One male had red hair and eyes as well. The other male had stony-yellowish hair with yellow eyes. Both the males were bulky, and almost completely the same. They were around 183 I'm tall.

The two females one with blue eyes and hair, the other with green eyes and hair. Both were also like identical twins, with heavenly beauty. An extremely nice figure. They are a little short with around 178 I'm in height.

They were staring at me with very cold eyes. Then there was another 'man'. A humanoid beast, a lion. He was also bulky with a height of 196 cm. He had that large hair around the face, mane. He was also staring at me coldly.

Then there was another man. This man had a shining golden trident. He had long dark blue hair and brown eyes. He was very muscular and manly with a large scar on his right chest. He was also staring at me with his cold eyes.

At last, there was a half-bird, half-human person towards my right. He had a white horse body but with wings and a muscular human body. That tail of his was looking soo fluffy. He was in the possession of a red blade sword and he had a large scar on his face. He must have lost his left eye in a battle leaving that scar.

In this circular hut, there was a large table at the centre and these seven people were sitting on one chair each. With Dillon on the opposite side of the entrance, the two females on each side of him followed by the others.

Everyone's gazes were on me and to increase the tense atmosphere I revealed to them about the attack of wild boars.

"Hey, Dillon a group of wild boars is going to attack this village. There are 50 of them and each of them is strong." (William)

"Hey, you, what do you think you are doing here?" (Centaur)

With his question, the atmosphere intensified.

"This is the young man who defeated the enemy and brought us his head. He is the one who requested me to be his subject." (Dillon)

"Hahaha. This brat. Are you kidding me?" (The red-haired man)

"Before that, there is something very important I must tell you. Like I said a group of boars are going to attack the village. All of them are strong. You must prepare a plan to counteract the attack." (William)

"What nonsense are you uttering? You cannot fool us?" (The beast)

"Wait, everyone. He might be telling the truth. Why would he tell a lie? If it was true we don't have the time and forces to counteract the attack." (Dillon)

"I am telling you the truth. If I am lying you can chop off my head. I will surrender." (William)

"Wait, don't joke around. We could defeat them but our main forces are dispersed around the island." (Centaur)

"I might help you." (William)

"Ha, don't fucking joke around you brat. Go home." (The Beast)

"I chased away an army of 100000 all alone, you know." (William)

Mockingly, I encouraged them to ask for my help.

"Yes, young man. But what are the conditions? I am sure there is a catch." (Dillon)

Dillon was smart so I knew he would be perfect as my right-hand man.

"If all of you were to swear an oath to be subordinates. I will prove to you that your decision did not go to waste. Just swear an oath and I alone will bring the meat of the boars. No kidding." (William)

"Let me ask you a question. Why do you desire us to be your subordinates and what is your purpose?" (Dillon)

"Don't you dare disobey me." (Dillon)

Dillon looked at the other with bloodthirsty eyes then they placed their objections. It proves the superiority of Dillon over the others. All others were shivering even the muscular beast became a cat.

"So what is your condition?" (William)

"My condition is simple. You will go alone and defeat the boars. I don't want to repeat my mistake once again. We want to look at the strength of the leader who we will follow. This way you can earn our trust. Do you accept?" (Dillon)

"Of course, I do." (William)

Dillon got very serious towards the end. I was sure that I would win but even so. But a message popped up.
