The New Village

Author note:

Oaths: As oath has been featured a lot in this novel, it has great value. Swearing an oath is like being a puppet of the master. After the oath is sworn, it is irreversible and it is absolute. The moment someone swears an oath their fates are sealed. If they commit an act of treason their very soul will be shattered. So swearing an oath is important for leaders to have loyal subjects. When someone swears an oath their soul is covered by a thin thread known as The Oath string. It is a small part of the master's soul. It will contract and demolish the spirit of the subject.

Kili was laughing and his eyes were shining gold when he heard the points of the negotiations.

"YOU... SHALL BE MY LORD. I SWEAR TO OBEY YOU HENCEFORTH FROM TODAY. I WILL MAKE THE BEST WEAPONS FOR YOU. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GREATNESS." Kill was happy and without me doing anything he swore the oath.

We sat down, all of us and talk for a bit. I decreed that all of the representatives should come to the central village that is almost complete. I designed the buildings. The village will be divided into three sections.

The village is a circle with a diameter of 2 km. It will be divided into three cones(like three pizza triangles). The first cone, covering the north will be the market and production area. The second covering west and southwest will be residential area and the final cone will be dedicated to military activities. All of this was the idea of the system.

It said that the whole world follows this pattern instead they are divided into concentric circles rather than cones. There will be a two-storey building at the centre of the village. I will govern the area from the centre. Three roads work as a borderline between each section that connects to the central building. The roads will be paved. The buildings will be classical and made up of wood at the moment. The old village will be made into farmland where the food for the city will be grown.

We left at night without wasting any time and reached the new Central Village which looked marvellous from the morning sky. The colourful roofs, paved and decorated roads. Out of all the market shined out more. I ordered Kili to make coins that will be the currency of this country. 

We landed outside of the central house where all of the representatives were kneeling, welcoming me. After that, we entered the building. Haider made the building the most furnished and decorated on the entire island. The residents, however, will have to make and buy their furniture for their houses. This will help me empower the army.

There were hanging glimmers, a comfortable couch, an office, a meeting room, an underground room and bedrooms on the second floor. Every room was decorated without leaving any nooks and corners.

"I decorated this building My Lord. It took me a while to figure out how to do it but I somehow managed to get it done. If you dislike it I will destroy the building and remake a new and improved one." Haider was smiling and bowing. I couldn't bring myself to destroy such beautiful architecture.

"Haider, you are good in decorations and buildings. I like this. So now let's get inside the meeting room." (William)

"Yes sir." ( All in unison)

We entered the meeting hall which had a large table, 10 most comfortable chairs and decorations. (It is a bit hard for me to explain the buildings, decorative and structures so don't mind.)

"Sit down. We will start the meeting right away."

"So what is the topic of this meeting, Lord William?"(Aurora)

" This meeting is going to determine our future. So I will finish talking and then you can put your views."(William)

"So, very soon we will be going in a state of war as soon as we complete our preparation. We will win over the Kingdom of Vanil. Before you spill your objections. I want to...

ASK FOR YOUR FORGIVENESS FOR PULLING YOU INTO THIS CONFLICT OF MY OWN."

I bowed and asked for forgiveness. I was pulling them into this conflict.

"What are you doing? You ARE our master. It is normal for us to follow the orders that you give Lord William. We are replaceable. But you shouldn't drop your dignity in front of us." (Dillon)

Dillon was crying out loud to see me bowing in front of them. However, 

"You guys are irreplaceable to me. I will protect you every day until I am out of breath. Thank you for being by my side. So let's begin the meeting."

All of them started crying and the respect for William in their hearts rose to the point they will never even dream of betraying him.
