Now that Theo was back and he was calmer, he wanted to research a bit more on what this was and why. This system- all this- he had to know more.

But there was another thing he had to worry about first.

Namely- his sister. His sister who was busy staring at him as he came out of the shower.

He'd picked the bathroom of this guestroom because he wanted to avoid this situation and for that, he'd locked the doors too.

"Were you standing here, all this time?"

But of course, it was never that easy to escape her.

Emily didn't respond but her gaze answered: Yes. "Nope, as you can see, I'm pretty much sitting." She was on the bed, legs dangling, arms acting as support behind her.

Theo'd changed into casual clothes, since he didn't necessarily need his suit right now, and he was glad he did. 'Glad I didn't just come out in a towel.'

He knew his sister had issues but- this kind of went beyond that.

"You weren't peeking at me or anything, right?" The doors were locked.
