Real tears

"Oh? They're already halfway there?" A calm voice.

Quiet office.

Lots of white.

"Yes, and though the quality is better- it's" The faceless man on the screen shrugged. "Nothing to worry about."

The man on the chair- fat, bald, grinning- grinned some more. "Of course, they're nothing to worry about. But if they don't put on at least a decent enough fight- wouldn't that just be boring?"

And the whole bet would lose its value. 

"Is that why you helped them secure that deposit just to-" The voice- a bit surprised- chuckled. 

"Who knows." The man also chuckled.

And together their laughs filled the quiet room with wonder.
