Chapter 19: Healthcare & Heroism

The seedy inn where the trio had spent the night was called the "Flagrant Boar." After delivering his round of hangover cures, Durri was quickly raised to legendary status among the Boar's patrons, and his friends found themselves treated to a stupendously greasy breakfast.

Durri himself could not partake. At least, he was unwilling to waste food by chewing a mouthful and then spitting it back out. He nibbled on a slice of bacon so as not to look ungrateful for the gift, but the fatty meat was simply stored in a little pocket to be scattered to the pigeons at a later time.

After laying out Ransackiel's message, Durri sat back in his creaking chair and glanced between his companions. "So," he said, "two weeks. That's all I've got. What are your thoughts?"
