Rycer stood still and closed his eyes.

“When does the next shipment leave?” he asked as he opened his eyes.

“It leaves first thing tomorrow, and from this very medical center,” Ducla answered. “I’m finishing up preparations for the shipment now.”

The doctor waved his hand over the blue boxes stacked by his desk.

Ducla nodded and went back to his work.

Vesta followed Rycer out of the medical building and back towards the jet.

“Oh no,” Rycer stopped walking. “What do you think you are doing, Vesta?”

“I’m…going with you?” Vesta said.

Rycer stopped and turned, “No, Vesta. This is too dangerous. You can’t…not this time.”
