Beads of sweat dripped from my brow, licked a trail behind my ears, down my neck, and between my barely covered breasts. Standing at the edge of the stage, I held my arms out at my sides, with my face turned toward the starlit sky and my eyes closed. 


I was exhausted, but we weren’t done yet. We were only about halfway through the second show of the night. 


Peeling my eyelids back, I cast my sight upon the giant monitor to my left. 


Strands of blue clung haphazardly to my forehead, pale pink stuck to my ear and cheek. I grinned, the display projecting onto the screen for the thousands of faceless people to see. Lowering one arm, I pressed my palm into my exposed midsection and slipped my thumb under the band of the black, faux-leather leggings I wore.
