Julian crouched behind the trash bin, just meters away from the tracks. He had one pulse pistol on his hip, but his katana was out. This hit was going to go down fast, and the fighting would be up close.


He looked up and saw Citizen's outline in the building across from him. She was in place. He couldn't see Athan and Gata, but he knew they would be ready.


Athan had placed the charges on the tracks. The supply train pod, scheduled to arrive in less than sixty seconds, felt as if it now took forever. Athan's intel said this was a priority one shipment from Sector 12, headed directly to the Fed headquarters. That meant it had a lot of precious supplies.


Armed agents would fill the train pod. They didn't know how many, but ever since the war had been heating up, the Fed was taking extra precautions.
