"What about the laptop?" Ruby asked. Four days passed and they hadn't received a call from their uncles.

"They said they'd take care of it." Dad frowned. "And Gustin got a woman to pose as your ex-friend and confirmed your story about going into the booth."

"The laptop must have taken longer to crack the password," Crystal offered.

Her sister shifted on the couch. Thankfully, her stitches were no longer red and puffy.

"What if Paul shows up?" She pointed to her sister's sling.

"Then I'll tell him I sprained my wrist beating eggs for the Banberry wedding."
