Inside Lavern's Café, Kade set his elbows on the table and his hands clasped in front of him. Paul sat across from him, his hands buried in paperwork. Kade had looked through police files and found Accurant, Adkins, Taft, and Rollings. Three were dead from car accidents, the fourth - Adkins - died of a heart attack in prison and was Westridge's former Chief Operating  


Officer. There had to be a connection with the names he'd found under Sutaban's BX1232 code. He couldn't trust Paul with anything since he'd been meeting Westridge on the side and calling the FBI regularly. His instincts - and what he knew so far - said Paul was working with  


Westridge and had been promised an easy pass to work with the Feds after this was over. What Kade didn't know was why and what exactly Paul was doing for Westridge.
