The next morning, with the Warren job complete, Crystal spilled her mocha cappuccino on her blouse as she left the coffee shop. Her hand trembled as she wiped the stain. The word klutz followed her all morning, tripping over her own feet, dropping her handbag. Her nerves were at a snapping point.

She grabbed more napkins and cleaned herself off, but there was still a brown stain down the front of her cream-colored shirt. The wind whisked away some of the tissues and she scrambled after them, spilling the remainder of her drink on the cement and on her heels.

"Where are you going in such a hurry?" Kade straddled a Honda motorcycle. Startled, she dropped the napkins. "Wha - oh drat, now they're in the street." "What is?" He glanced around.

"My napkins." She reached down to grasp them, but the wind scattered more down the road. She dashed out after them; he grasped her arm.
