Chapter 10: Shadows

Gwen sat in her apartment, creating notes about her next stream and figuring out what the theme was going to be. The desk she sat at had been around a while with it’s scuff marks and old drawings in crayon from when she was a kid. The blue line had been left behind by her father when they had been coloring an ocean picture together. She hadn’t had the money to buy a new one and this one was still good for being ancient. Ancient in her terms, she doubted Logan would feel the same about it. Plus, the memories alone were a good enough reason to keep it in her possession.

She slammed her elbows onto the top of her wooden desk, flopping her head into her hands. She couldn’t get the vampire out of her mind, no matter how much she tried. Logan just kept appearing, not only in her dreams but in her mind as well. It was like he had sank his fangs into her neck already, making it incredibly hard to forget about him.
