Chapter Three - Parting and Climbing the Cliff

3 years later

Seen a young man in a hat sitting on a large rock while supporting his head with a wooden spear to make his sleep comfortable.

Tuk!

"Ouch!" she screamed in shock until her body staggered.

"Pftttt... feel it! Hahaha!" laughed a boy who threw a rock right at his head until he got up and fell on his face.

The young man in the hat immediately got up. He clenched his fists in annoyance and glared at the boy from behind his hat. "Son, you better not bother me!"

"Hey strange swordsman, you better get out of this village immediately. Because of you, you scared my friend!" he said, pointing to the face of the young man in the hat.

The young man in the hat walked over to the bad boy in front of him. He pinched his ear and said, "Don't be a whiz."

"You must have come here to send me home to eat," he guessed.

"Aaahh! Nothing! Tell you to go, that's right!" he said, grinning.

The young man in the caped hat twisted his ear even harder until the boy screamed in pain. "Ouch, let go! Yes, yes!"

The youth removed his hand from the bad boy's ear. "Okay, let's eat," he said walking in front of the boy who was busy holding his aching ear.

The boy stomped his feet in annoyance while following the boy in the hat.

"Yu Ying, I'm sorry for always bothering you," said the young man in the hat between his meals.

They are currently eating together. With one beautiful girl serving as food maker for them all and three boys, none other than the girl's uncle and the bad boy who annoys the boy in the hat.

The beautiful girl stopped eating it then said, "No problem."

"That's right, finish your food first and then talk," said someone who was considered an uncle by all of them.

The young man nodded then continued his food again.

After a few minutes, they all finally finished their meal.

Yu Ying the pretty girl took all the bowls that were already dirty with leftovers.

"Let me help," said the young man in the hat.

The girl nodded. Then the young man helped him carry the rest of the bowls on the table.

"Yu Ying, you're really great, even though you're… sorry," he said, pausing because he remembered that the word would offend him. The meaning of the young man's words was that Yu Ying was a blind girl. So he was a little surprised by Yu Ying who was very visible doing something that was not normal for a blind person.

"It's my job so I'm used to it and you don't need to apologize either, this is normal," he said in a very soft voice.

The youth said quickly, "No, no, Yu Ying, don't say such things, I really feel bad."

"After all, I've been bothering you from the start," he said in a low tone.

"What about your wounds?" Yu Ying asked deliberately not to mention it again.

"Em... it's healed, just a small wound," replied the young man in the hat.

"You're leaving here?" Yu Ying asked. "It seems so," replied the youth in the hat, after he put down his bowl, he was about to leave but was intercepted by Yu Ying.

"Wait a minute," Yu Ying paused after she put the bowl in its place to wash it.

Yu Ying took the bottle from the table near the laundry with slow steps. After that he turned towards the young man in the hat. "This is for you, use it to treat your wounds." He handed the bottle into the hand of the young man in the hat.

"This Yu Ying…" The youth was silent, he was really touched to see what Yu Ying had given him. High-grade healing medicine."

With a sincere smile Yu Ying said, "I've made it all night for you. Hope it will be useful for healing your wounds."

The young man in the hat immediately hugged Yu Ying without waiting for his approval. "Why do you bother helping me Yu Ying? I've bothered you so much. When you helped me in my dying state. You also took very good care of me so that I was able to be in shape until now, even though you weren't in good shape yourself."

"Yu Ying, I promise to find a medicinal plant to cure you," he said solemnly.

"I will be waiting for you. Please let go of your arms, my chest feels tight."

The youth who realized what he had done, he immediately let go of his embrace with Yu Ying. "Oh, sorry."

Yu Ying laughed. "It does not matter."

"I'm leaving," the young man said then walked away intending to leave Yu Ying alone.

Yu Ying said, "Be careful."

The youth stopped in his tracks then glanced at Yu Ying. "Yeah, you too, take good care of yourself. I'll definitely come back here."

"Hmm." Yu Ying nodded.

Arriving at the courtyard of Yu Ying's small house. The young man in the capil hat saw someone who he thought was his uncle was in his fields planting rice as usual after having breakfast together.

"Uncle Yu!" called him a little shout.

The man turned and looked at the young man in the hat when his name was called. "What's wrong Ziang'er?!"

"Uncle Yu I will leave here. And tell the bad boy that I will leave this house!"

Uncle Yu immediately stopped his activities. He immediately headed towards the youth in the hat. "What do you mean by what you said?" he asked in need of clarification.

"I'll get out of here uncle," he explained.

The man gently patted the young man in the hat on the shoulder. "Are you sure? You are seriously injured."

The hooded boy shook his head. "I'm fine uncle. Oh yeah, actually I hate to say this, but I have to say it. I want to thank you uncle. After this I won't say it again."

Uncle Yu chuckled hearing that. "What the hell are you, don't want to say it but it's said anyway."

"I just hate him uncle," he said hoarsely.

Uncle Yu patted the young man's shoulder. "Forget the past, don't hold a grudge about it."

The young man nodded. "Yes, I will try. Now my main goal is to find out the truth of the teacher's death."

"Ziang'er, I just want to give you some advice, it's better if you go back and find out. Take your chance to become stronger first, seek out experiences that can make you stronger. Don't push yourself too hard to find something you don't understand the danger behind it. that's all I want to say. Please put your big and dangerous ego aside." he said clearly.

"I understand uncle," he said and then he left.

"I hope you understand what I'm saying Ziang'er. Your teacher's identity isn't that simple," Uncle Yu muttered.

***

"I wish I could climb it, I sure can!"

A high cliff towered above. Yes, the young man in the hat is now near a very heavy waterfall with rock cliffs so high.

With burning enthusiasm he climbed the famous and slippery rock cliff. He didn't forget to use the two swords that he always kept in his dimension ring. A ring that can hold a lot of luggage, depending on what level the ring is.

There are three levels of rings in this world:

-Basic level > the area around the shopping bag, usually the middle class has it.

-Earth level > the breadth of a myriad of treasures, can transport certain objects, both animals, medicines, even treasure. This ring is usually used by the nobility to facilitate their work.

-Universe Level > is vast and infinite. This ring is often also called the small world, this ring is rarely seen because it is transparent. Only a few have it, even nobles don't necessarily have it.

For the ring that the hat youth was wearing, the name Xu Ziang, was of the universe level. Because the ring was a gift from his teacher. For this age it is impossible to get a ring like Xu Ziang.

He deliberately took the sword so that his body would not fall. Incidentally the sword he took was an heirloom, so it was not easily damaged or cracked when used to support his body.

Trying hard to grab it until it accidentally hurt because the stone used to stick the sword turned out to be crushed. Xu Ziang straightforwardly moved his sword to the other side so that he wouldn't be hit by the crushed stone, but was forced to fall victim to it.

"Hah!" He took a deep breath to catch his breath. He stopped in the middle of the cliff. The distance to the top is the same and is in the middle.

His eyes opened slightly downwards. looking at the abyss below, he was horrified. "Okay, let's move on."

***

"Whoa! Finally here!"

Xu Ziang spread his arms as he occasionally took a breath of air, not forgetting to put his sword back down and retrieve his wooden spear which looked ordinary on the outside but was actually an heirloom.

He brought one hand to his eye to avoid the glare of the sun even though he himself was wearing a hat. "It's hot in here too," he thought.

"I really didn't think there would be a village under such a terrible cliff," he said slightly looking down at the cliff which turned out to be a village there.

He stretched his arms and made the occasional warm-up motion. He adjusted his hat slightly then said coldly, "I'm back in a world that looks good but isn't as cruel as it seems."
