"What did you do to them, vampire?" Xander said disgustedly. 

Gritting her teeth, Tatiana wondered how she hadn’t heard nor smelled him entering her house. She should’ve. After all, her senses weren’t that much worse than a werewolf’s. Furthermore, it was Xander of all people. Tatiana could recognize his scent anywhere.

"What's wrong with you?” Tatiana asked angrily as she struggled under Xavier. “Do you now break and enter strangers’ houses just to assault them in your free time?” 

"I said,” Xander growled. “What. Did. You. Do to my wolves?"

The Alpha's Cursed Destiny

"Sweet Lord, that right there is the reason I love you," Zhuri said to Tatiana as she made her way down the stairs. It had taken her all the strength to lock herself up in her room and not come to the rescue of her friend. 


Of course, Zhuri was very aware that Tatiana could handle herself, but her judgment was always impaired when it came to Xander. She would always let every incarnation of Xander treat her like they wanted, and she just stood there, waiting for the misery to end. 


Tatiana was always scared of doing something that could piss Xander off or saying something that could make him not come back. Xander had attacked Tatiana, and still, she believed that he was the reason her heart beat rationally. 


As she descended down the stairs, Zhuri looked at her friend, wondering how she was so kind and in control of everything. If Zhuri had been in Tatiana's state, she could have sent the wolves back home with their rude alpha. She couldn't have made any effort to save them.
