"Please don't stop," she said in a shallow, begging voice. 
"I won't," Lucien replied with his half-closed eyes. She could feel that he, too, was feeling the same euphoria and desire she felt.

The Vampire Prince's Pretend Bride

Blair tried to look around the castle. 


Since she didn't know where his bedroom could be, she simply guessed that it was just somewhere near the music room. Blair went upstairs and looked around, but there were more than five rooms in just that hallway alone, near the music room. 


On one thought, she could consider checking each one of those rooms until Lucien came out. On the other hand, it seemed it was too much that it lost her interest. 


Nonetheless, before she could have even decided. Blair heard footsteps coming from the front door. She wondered if it was Lucien, and she abruptly stepped down the stairs. Blair covered her mouth, as she wasn't expecting what she just saw. 


The witch smiled back and behind her stood the vampire Blair had been looking for all this time. 


‘Did Lucien just surprise me?’ Blair thought. She raised her brow, but she smirked. Maybe Lucien was indeed a soft-hearted vampire at all.
