Begin the mission

At the chicken farm without any chickens, four teenagers sat together on fallen tree branches.

Galaxia, one of the four, was talking, narrating his problem to the other tree

It went like this;

After separating the day before, when they had all cleared the dungeon, Galaxia went on his way to buy a land with the coins he had gotten from the loot, a total of 200 gold coins.

On getting to the land agency however, Galaxia was quickly meet with the disappointing new and had to leave.

On his way, he meet an old NPC walking down the empty street holding a white dress stained with blood.

At first glance, Galaxia notice there was something not quite alright about this old man.

It could have been the bloody female dress he held or the dirty yet expensive looking cloth the man wore. It might have even been the expressionless face the an wore.

But it wasn't any of that.

What Galaxia noticed at first glance was that he could see through the old NPC walking down the street, holding a bloody white dress.

This immediately drew in Galaxia's interest. He had read the guide book for the game cover to cover and had never seen anything about this strange old man.

Nothing.

"Young man, if you're that curious, all you need do is ask" the man suddenly stopped walking and said in a loud clear voice but his lips never moved.

Galaxia was startled.

"How...how did you do that?" he asked

The old man doesn't turn to him but continued to talk, disregarding Galaxia's question

"My daughter and I went to visit her mother's grave in the neighboring village two days ago. After meeting her, when went around to see if the village have changed much since we last visited. It hasn't"

Galaxia swallowed. He didn't know if it was a good idea to listen to this transparent old man. However, he couldn't leave either. His curiosity rooted his feet to the ground.

"My daughter wanted to pick the seven petals demonic sun flower which could only be found in that village. I went with her to the forest but we were attacked by a gang. I was killed and my daughter captured"

"Holy shit, you are a ghost!" Galaxia exclaimed in shock. That explained why he could see right through him.

"Young man, help me find the gang and rescue my daughter before they molest or kill her" the old man said

"Wait....I don't think I can....."

On his protest, the old man turned to him sharply. His face was blank but he cried blood. His figure was starting to blend into the environment

"Find my daughter and I will reward you"

"Rescue my daughter and I will make you powerful!"

"Bring my daughter back alive and unharmed and I will make you mighty!"

The old man's figure completely vanished into thin air but his voice still echoed in the air.

"Find her..."

"Find my daughter"

"Find Rong"

"So, that's how it happened" Galaxia said and sighed.

The other three stared at him in disbelief.

"So, let me get this straight..." Shinigami finally broke the silence that Galaxia's tale brought "You accepted a mission from a ghost?"

"Yes....." Galaxia replied

"You actually accepted a mission from a dead man!" Night Witch exclaimed

"Yes I accepted a mission from a dead man!" Galaxia yelled in frustration. "Seriously guys, which of you could have rejected the mission if you were in my shoes"

The three people in front of him raised their hands

"You all are heartless" Galaxia said helplessly

Ma Vương shrugged

"I'm all for accepting a hell ranked mission but accepting a mission from the dead? Count me out" he stated and continued "However, since I myself accepted a find and return mission I haven't started yet, I'll help you on yours, to see what it would be like"

"Really?" Galaxia asked and Ma Vương nodded "Thanks"

"What about you two?" Ma Vương asked looking at Shinigami and Night Witch

"I don't think I want to get involved in this" Shinigami said

"Me neither. Anything to do with the dead creep me out" Night Witch nodded

"Come on you two. I texted you two because I at least have an idea of what you guys are capable of and since the dungeon experience, I've thought of you guys as people who won't run to save their lives and live their team mates to die" Galaxia said

"The point is, I know you guys more than I know anyone else in this game and it'll be cool if we stick together"

"You're not just saying that to get us to help you are you?" Night Witch asked

"No" Galaxia looked at each one of them in the eyes "I'm saying that because I want us to be friends"

"Good, because you'll be a real dick if you didn't" Night Witch said "I've never had someone want to be my friend before. Back in reality, people just avoid me cause I'm like obsessed with reading about magic and witches and all those things that aren't considered normal. I wasn't considered normal"

"What?" Ma Vương asked in disbelief "You managed to learn s spell I found out could only be used by people at level 10 and you're only at level 2! I don't think you're normal. You're like the top genius of all geniuses"

Night Witch laughed for the first time, he cheeks tinted

"Thank you and I'm at level 4 now"

"You really are something Night Witch. Mages and Alchemist are supposed to level up slower" Galaxia said with a smile

"Slower? pff, don't you know I'm know as the limit breaker?" Night Witch said proudly

This time they all laughed, even Shinigami

"Well I'm all for this" Galaxia said holding his hand out in s fist

"Count me in" Night Witch said and placed her fisted hand next to Galaxia's

"Me too" Ma Vương said and placed his fist next to the first two

They all turned to Shinigami.

"Three is a odd number" Shinigami said fisting I'm his right hand. He placed it with the other three "Now it's even"

"I guess we've got ourselves a team" Galaxia said

"Didn't you say the old man and his daughter went to a neighboring village and also went to pick a plant?" Ma Vương asked

"Yes. The Seven Petals Demonic Sun Flower" Galaxia replied

"The seven petals demonic sun flower is a species of sun flower that is used to make many pills. The flower needs a very sunny environment to grow in" Ma Vương said.

The day before, he had read everything and everything relating to the game he could get his hands on and was now very well informed.

"Spring Heart Village has the highest temperature of all twenty villages" Galaxia said

"That where that Floating Bunny from the announcement yesterday was from" Night Witch said

"But Spring Heart Village is generations away from here." Shinigami said "It's at least a three days journey"

The guys all turned to Night Witch who sighed dramatically

"Yes, I know a teleportation spell" she said

"Perfect. Can we start the mission now?" Galaxia asked

"Yeah"

"Why not"

"Sure"

Everyone was ready to begin the mission and they all stood up

"Stand in a circle and hold hands" Night Witch said. She got in the middle of the circle

"Don't break the circle" she said "I'll send us to the entrance of the village"

The guys nodded and Night Witch closed her eyes, hold her wand infront of her. It glowed a warm green

"Between space and time, a portal is found. Connect to the earth and open the gate to me. Ellia Teleporta!"
