"I think I have a better chance of completing my mission now, right?" Ma Vương asked

Qiáng shrugged

"Hopefully" he replied

"We'll see" Ma Vương shifted his eyes to the system store "In the main while, I'll just buy that skill"

Browsing through the list of skills, Ma Vương stopped at a skill he has been wanting to buy.

Although he had a lot of powerful skills, he still wanted this particular skill after all it was a classless unranked skill and what more, there was only one on sales.

He couldn't believe he just bought a skill that could alter destiny.

Ma Vương thought back to his other two overpowered skill and weapon

One allowed him to move at a speed three times his original speed, another made him an unstoppable force and the third gave him perfect control in a battle if used accurately.

"Are you planning to relay on powerful skills and weapons to become powerful?" Qiáng asked. His voice had a hint of worry that one couldn't easily detect.

For a moment, Ma Vương didn't reply and just stared at the three overpowered skill and single weapon displayed on the screen.

True he had a lot of overpowering skills and weapons, he could easily become the strongest by depending on them but

"Qiáng, without all of these, without the error, how strong am I?" he asked doubtfully

"Without them.." Qiáng looked at the things on the screen, then thought about all of Ma Vương's progress.

"Without them, you'll be a ten times weaker than you are now" Qiáng said. His tone wasn't harsh or meant to discourage but he didn't hold back either.

"Weak?.."

Ma Vương wasn't expecting that. Even with all these he would be considered weak.

Wasn't he making progress? Didn't he defeat a dungeon leader the weak before? Didn't he accept a high ranking mission on his first day?

Like he could hear all of Ma Vương's thoughts and questions, Qiáng flew off his head and floated in front of his face

"Be honest with yourself, have you really accomplished anything in this world so far, with your own strength?" Qiáng asked

Ma Vương thought hard but shook his head

"No"

"Yes, you have" Qiáng said

"I have?" Ma Vương asked confused

"Remember, the first time you fought the chickens at the newbie farm, you did it with your own strength" Qiáng explained

Ma Vương frowned

"But I died in a few seconds" he stated

Qiáng shrugged

"But you tried again after that, tirelessly till you could win" he said

"You still helped me though"

"I'm here to help you Ma Vương, that won't change but the error? That might disappear in a blink." Qiáng said "Remember the first time you won, how did you feel?"

Ma Vương thought back to that day at the chicken farm. With all his MP gone and little health left, he felt good. Genuinely good. It was the first time he'd felt so accomplished in his life, both of them.

"I felt great" He replied

"And the only weapon you used that day was this" Qiáng pulled out the basic dagger from the blue screen

"My basic dagger. I haven't used this since...." Ma Vương trailed off

"Since you began getting fancy stuff from the error?"

"Yeah"

Qiáng smiled. He was finally getting a message across

"Maybe what you need isn't a bunch of overpowered skills and weapons. Maybe it's your own strength and heart."

Ma Vương griped the dagger tightly

"I understand. However, does that mean I have to give up the other weapons and skills?" he asked

"No. You can used them all you want. Just don't depend on them to solve a problem you could easily solve with a simple dagger" Qiáng said

"I understand" Ma Vương nodded "From now on, I'll focus on my dagger skills and general skill as an assassin. Only when I upgrade to a 2nd level assassin will I use my other class skills and weapons"

"You're sure you can do that?" Qiáng asked jokingly

"Well with you here as my teacher, I say bring it on" Ma Vương held the dagger in front of him with a new fire burning in his eyes "I was an assassin first for a reason. Time to retrace my steps"

Up in the sky, the sun seemed to shine brighter for a moment.
