Chapter 27

Their destination though was Paper District, a fancy restaurant that definitely required a reservation beforehand, Leon clearly put a lot of preparation in.

“You don’t have to keep opening doors for me.”

Jaxon mumbled with heated cheeks when Leon held open the door to the restaurant, he had done the same with the car door again.

“But I want to.” He answered easily.

They were directed to their table and Leon was a few steps away from committing mass murder, if one more waitress smiiled suggestively at Jaxie or some patron stared at him for far too long one more time, he was pretty sure he would lose it.

What made it slightly bearable was that Jaxon didn't even notice the attention he garnered, a ghost of a smile drifted across Leon's face, expected.

Jaxon gave up on complaining when Leon drew out his chair for him, Leon didn’t seem to mind after all.

He wished his face would stop heating up though, that was upsetting.
