Chapter 28

Maybe people stared as they walked past, hand in hand but who was Jaxon to care when the sun glinting off Leon's hair had his entire attention.

He nearly hiccupped his heart to his throat when Leon kept their hands intertwined, helping him cross the busy street so that they could city watch.

The first place they went past was the high rise shopping district, people milled around them, mostly groups of females hurrying to throw away their money in the glittery shops full of expensive wares.

The stores made for pretty eye candy though, not that Leon would know, he had to constantly remind himself to look away from Jaxon's smiling face so that they did not trip or smack into a wall.

He was the one leading the way after all, he couldn't risk being distracted.

There were couples around too, visibly hand in hand and making heart eyes at each other, the majority of the population were tourists and so they were mostly humans.
