Colin Foxly is in desperate search of his mate and the search leads him to Ashina Hemming. Ashina is perfect in the eyes of everyone. He touches her and feels the calling. The Wrong Mate

Griff watches me with a bemused expression.

He is unsure and I can see it in his eyes. "You think it is risky?" I add. I need my best friend right now and even though things are still shaky between us, I trust that he will not betray me. He committed a crime and he paid for it.

I needed the truth, and he gave it to me. "It is almost over. I need to set up this meeting with them. Make sure that we are safe before I can even relax."

It has been a couple of days and the bodies of the deceased are still in the morgue, cold and untouched. I can't bury them until I am sure that we won't have any more people to bury.
