A Boarding House That Turns Out to be Haunted

When he steps outside his boarding house, Victor looks back and notices the condition of the building. When he first came, Victor didn't bother with the condition, but now his eyes are quite open and feel awkward about the building.

"Is this the former castle?" Victor began to think and was confused by his own thoughts. Where could there be a castle in the country, he thought.

There was an acrylic board that read White Castle attached above the entrance. The writing will glow green when electrified.

Victor's gaze flowed from the acrylic board, it went upstairs. From the outside, it will not be visible if every room in the building is lined up and facing each other. From the outside, there is a magnificent building with peeling paint and ornamental plants under each window with wide shutters dangling like a waterfall. The houseplant almost covered every window on the first floor.

The building consists of two floors. The first floor has eight rooms facing the other eight rooms, so there are sixteen rooms on the first floor. While on the second floor, there are seven rooms facing each other so that there are four rooms in total. If the number of rooms on the first and second floors is added together, the total becomes 30 rooms.

The boarding house building called White Castle looks like a Dutch house built in the colonial era. It has a large round wall support, like it would not be able to be knocked down by a bulldozer though.

All of a sudden, Victor imagined that there was a vampire living in one of the rooms. And it is possible that one of the inhabitants or all the residents of the boarding house is an immortal being. Victor twitched, feeling funny with his own thinking. Where could there be a castle in the country, he repeated. And where could there be immortals in this world, he added to refute his own thoughts.

Victor then turned around. He ignored all his own bizarre thoughts. It is true that the boarding house looks haunted. However, it must be only because it is poorly maintained. Victor thought of all the logical reasons that the cause and effect of the boarding house looked gloomy than other buildings around it.

Victor didn't notice if anyone was watching him in one of the rooms on the second floor. A woman, holding a dressing glass, and lipstick in her hand smiled. "Is he still unconscious?" Then she turned her head after saying that questioning sentence.

A man sits on a recliner. He put down a beauty magazine that he had pretended to read. He just walked into the women's room.

"Ox, are you interested in him?" the man asked.

"Oh, Zi, my job is to satisfy every man's desires. If one day I smell that scent from him, then I will definitely go to him," the woman called Ox said without pretending. She smiles coquettishly at Zi, the blonde man who was with Luis a few hours ago.

"We're the same, sleeping with anyone to satisfy cravings," Ox said, moving his bare shoulders. He wears a tank top and shorts, his thighs clearly displayed.

Zi smiled. He then approached Ox.

"Do you want to satisfy my desires now?" he said, holding Ox's chin.

Ox looked at Zi with his * eyes. He also smiled defiantly.

Zi let go of Ox's chin. "You are indeed a fox," he said. He then turned his gaze out. He saw Victor walking away.

"You saved him from an accident, then he still doesn't remember anything, are you sure he is the one?"

Zi turned his head irritably at Ox.

"I've never been wrong," Zi said.

"When will Mario make a move? We've all been waiting for a big war," Ox said.

"Still have to wait. The rise of an important figure is urgently needed to strengthen the clan," Zi said as he moved away from the shutters and approached the recliner again.

"Damn! That's a long time!" said Ox, then pouted. "What if I'm dead when that arrives? I can't scratch D'Toni!"

The wind blew hard and brushed Ox's hair. She was quite surprised by the appearance of a masked figure next to Zi.

"Wildo?!" shouted Ox.

The male figure who never took off his mask said greetings with hand gestures and smiles. Ox gets up and tries to hug Wildo, but the man refuses by pushing Ox. The woman fell back into her chair. Ox snorted irritably, but she wasn't really mad at Wildo.

"All the residents of this house have gathered," Wildo said, reporting to Zi.

"We are beginning to awaken the power of that innocent young man. He will soon see the world with his new eyes," Zi said, smiling happily. "And you, use one of the empty rooms as a place to live and keep an eye on them," he pleaded to Wildo.

"And in the meantime, what are you going to do?"

"I'm going to visit Mario. The man must also be impatient to get close to Victor. He even secretly came to his room while the young man was sleeping," Zi said, grinning.

"He's really a perverted guy," Ox quipped.

Wildo laughed.

"If Mario heard your words, he would choke your neck until it broke," Zi said.

Ox rolled his eyes, unafraid of the crazy possibility.

Victor buys instant coffee at a convenience store. He deliberately slowed down his steps to arrive at the location mentioned by Ken. He sat on a chair available on the terrace of the convenience store. He took out his mobile phone and his curiosity suddenly moved him to see the sales account in the FalconFace application.

"How much money has been raised?" asked Victor in a happy tone.

He really likes the transparency system created by FalconFace through the application.

His eyes opened wide as he watched how many points he had accumulated and how much they would be worth if converted to real money. Victor spontaneously shouted happily. Several people around the convenience store turned to him.

Victor smiled broadly and despite being aware of people staring at him, Victor didn't care. He expressed his joy to the maximum, like a footballer who managed to break into the opponent's goal.

Victor sat back feeling very relieved. The tightness in his chest that had been languishing seemed to be lifted just like that. His eyes suddenly brightened. Everything he looked at seemed more colorful.

Victor smiled from ear to ear and every step became lighter and lighter. Although I still don't know what the future will look like, the sense of security of living life one month ahead is already a great relief.

Victor looked at the notes displayed on his account repeatedly. Then he checked the names of the members who had saved him. He finds Aditya's name as the best buyer. All the things Aditya bought were shipped abroad. There are very detailed historical records. Aditya's first order was sent to Singapore, then to Shanghai, then to Milan, to Singapore again, then to Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Taiwan, Philippines. Victor was stunned. The business must have a big responsibility, Victor thought, praising Aditya's toughness.

"Did he buy in bulk for resale? but there is no such description," Victor muttered. He looked for other additional information that he might have missed, but there was none. This guy deliberately concealed other important information, it was indeed his right as a customer, Victor thought.

Victor is curious who this Aditya really is?

Aditya has a membership code ID number in his name, but Victor feels he never met and gave the ID. There are three names that he can remember that he gave himself the membership ID, namely Mario, Yoshi, and Amel. Mario never showed up. Yoshi went shopping once and Amel came twice, shopping once.

When Victor remembers Amel, Victor automatically thinks of Amel's offer. The woman who started her main career as a model was waiting for him to come to the agency. He hadn't heard from Amel again since he last met. The woman once sent a message asking if Victor had gone to the agency. Victor replied not yet, still thinking about it.

It was the first and last message. It seems that Amel is very busy, Victor thought. Can being a model really be so busy that there is no time to relax, even text?

Victor sighed, a little uneasy because he realized that he now had a career choice. Being a model looks like it's going to be a challenge worth trying.

Amel said Victor would definitely succeed in conquering the modeling world with his physique and handsome face. When he heard the compliment, Victor was very happy. He rarely gets compliments, especially from a woman.

However, the bonuses and fixed salary he will get from FalcoFace feel safer to rely on than a modeling job. Victor is more inclined to stay at FalconFace because of the fixed salary than go to the agency that houses Amel. Victor didn't have the confidence to be a model.

Even so, Victor still kept Amel's gift business card. In the worst-case scenario if not accepted into FalconFace, Victor will try his hand at modeling.

Victor had already arrived in front of the bar pointed by Ken. He opens the messaging app to message Ken that he already arrives. But apparently, Ken had already sent a message to him first. Ken said he arrived with a photo of the table, which showed Ken's preferred seat.

Victor walked in and found Ken's preferred seat not bad. The place was close to the singer's stage. A woman with the stage name Siren was singing.

Victor didn't get the lyrics very well. Either because of Siren's unclear pronunciation or because the song performed by Siren is a foreign language that Victor knows. It may also be both.

Ken greeted Victor with two bottles of beer on the table. Empty glasses have also been prepared. Ken's appearance is like a man asking a woman out for the first time. Victor felt that he had chosen the wrong clothes, because he came with a plain t-shirt, bomber jacket, and worn-out jeans.
