Where is Luis?

Rayansha stopped Victor from telling the story by shouting questions. "Where is Luis?"

Victor stroked his chest as the story was surprisingly stopped. They don't remember the time when they told the story. It was almost 3 o'clock in the morning.

"I'll continue the story tomorrow. You should sleep. Don't you have to work tomorrow?"

Victor shows Rayansha the time. He uses his handphone to resuscitate Rayansha.

"This story is getting more and more interesting. I was even curious about the residents of White Castle. Can I write this story into a novel? I can turn it into an action genre fantasy story!"

Victor was happy to hear Rayansha's extremely enthusiastic babble.

"I'm glad you're enthusiastic, but I don't want my story to be the reason you can't concentrate on writing tomorrow's article," Victor said as he invited Rayansha into the room. The apartment had only one room. Victor was going to sleep on the sofa.

Rayansha complains and says that she will not be affected with confidence. But Victor didn't want to take the risks that Rayansha should have known.

Rayansha finally relented. She walked into the room and got into the quilt. "How does he know that if I don't sleep enough, my concentration ability will decrease a lot?" murmured Rayansha as she looked at the ceiling of the room.

Despite trying to think of Victor's story, Rayansha's brain works by itself to reimagine the scene Victor told her before.

"How did Victor know that he could rewind time?"

Rayansha woke up after muttering the question. She stared at the door of the room. It feels like it comes out and forces Victor to continue his story, but she prevents herself from doing that.

"I think he needs a rest too," Rayansha told herself. Then she went back into the quilt.

Meanwhile, Victor recalls his strange life plot.

"It's still hard for me to believe that in this world, humans live together with Phantom. They even look and act like humans."

Victor spoke to himself. He recalls how he finally found out how Luis disappeared and where he had been all along. That's not a good story. When Victor walked into that apartment room, he felt a very strong dark aura. Victor closed his eyes, took a deep breath and prayed that he could forget everything.

The next day, after Rayansha finishes work, Victor fulfills his promise to continue his story. Rayansha has labeled Victor's long story as a fantasy story like the story of 1001 nights.

"Where is Luis?"

The question was asked by Rayansha to Victor to remind Victor where they stopped last time. Victor took a deep breath and along with it he reawakened his memory.

"Luis is dead," Victor said. Rayansha's mouth opened wide in surprise.

"How do you know?"

"That's our story today. A very long, confusing, and at the same time scary story. No, maybe just spooky, there's something hard to understand too. I still can't believe that all this has ever happened in my life."

Rayansha became more and more curious. Victor's words have riddles.

After Rami asks where Luis is, Victor starts to find out where Luis is because he promises to help Rami find out what happened to Luis. Victor began by visiting Luis's residence. He had been there with Eka once.

Back when he first stopped by, Victor was jealous of Luis's success and confidence in renting the apartment. Victor stood at the door and rang the bell. No one answered or opened the door. Victor didn't know the password to log in, so he just stood there and thought about who could help him.

Victor tried to contact Eka, but was not answered. When turning off the phone that Eka didn't pick up, Victor began to think bad things.

"How about during this time Luis fainted inside?"

Victor sought help by going to the apartment's security team. He asked to open the door using a spare key or something.

"My friend didn't work for three days. I want to confirm if he is okay. Please sir," Victor pleaded.

"Let's put it this way, let's make sure through CCTV first. Whether he goes home or not," the security guard said.

The security guard then took Victor to the control room where there were many monitor screens from each CCTV camera. The security guard checked the CCTV facing Luis's room.

From the CCTV it can be seen that Luis entered his apartment at night on the date mentioned by Victor.

"It must be him coming home after overtime," Victor said.

They then looked at the time rotation of the CCTV screen. The security guards sped it up and until morning, when working time came, Luis didn't appear to leave the apartment. Victor even asked for CCTV footage to be replayed in case anything was missed. The result remained the same, Luis did not come out of the room again after entering. Then Luis should be in the house. Victor began to feel uncomfortable with his discovery.

"Is there any other way?" Victor asked a silly question.

"Of course not. Unless he jumped through the seventh-floor balcony of his apartment building."

Security guards then showed CCTV outside the building that was recorded in the direction of Luis's apartment building. No one jumped down or climbed the building. There was only someone from the other room who came out of his room to smoke on the balcony. Apart from that person, there is nothing else.

"Then can you open the door? I'm afraid he fainted inside. Because he had complained of pain while in the office," said Victor.

The officer considered the emergency value of Victor's request. They decided to help him. They opened the door easily after calling a caretaker. They don't have a spare key because it includes an invasion of privacy. That is the policy set in the apartment.

Victor and the apartment security entered the room and found no one. The apartment was very luxurious. It has a spacious living room and two rooms. There does not appear to be any violent crime in it. The floor cleaning robot died and stayed on the carpet in the living room.

Victor opened one of the rooms. Apparently the room functioned as a dressing room. Victor called Luis and opened the other door, it turned out to be a toilet and the floor was dry.

On the kitchen table, it can be seen that there are several open beer cans and they have been finished filling. The trash can was empty, there was no sign of Luis eating something. Victor opened the refrigerator out of curiosity about the contents of the large, shiny silver refrigerator. When he saw the content, Victor had a bad feeling. In the refrigerator there is no food or drink. How many days has Luis not been shopping?

Security guards seemed to be waiting at the door. Victor felt that it was better not to overload them by going around in circles in the room. Victor then opened a door and found ashes piled up on the bed.

Victor was astonished by the existence of the ashes.

"Why did he keep ashes?"

Victor looked around, it can be seen from the layout that the room serves as a bedroom. Surprisingly, none of the photos or displays were liked by Luis. After looking at it as a whole, Victor felt that Luis didn't really live in this apartment.

"Sorry, it seems that my friend is not here," Victor told the security guard. "But I found something strange in that room. Can you check it out?"

Victor felt something that was not easy to describe. There was something threatening in the room.

"It's just ashes," the security guard said after seeing something Victor called suspicious.

Victor also knew that it was ashes. However, his hunch said it was not ordinary ashes when he touched it.

"How about it, it feels weird," Victor said.

"Maybe your friend has a strange hobby," the security guard said.

Victor disagreed, but also couldn't refute the security guard's words.

"How about you just report it to the police station?" the security guard finally suggested.

Victor agreed with the idea.

"I asked for a copy of the CCTV footage, so that the police would listen to my words," Victor said.

The security guard allowed it.

Victor arrives at the police station and meets Soni, a detective on special duty in the Missing Persons Division. Soni receives Victor kindly and receives the CCTV footage Victor got from the apartment security.

"We'll contact you when we get something," Soni said.

After seeing the footage quickly, Soni guessed that Luis had mysteriously disappeared. He thought, "It may have something to do with Phantom activities."

"You are going to look for it?" Victor can't believe that Soni believes that Luis is missing. From his last case, when he lost money, the police who answered his complaint seemed not interested in investigating.

"Sure. He was missing from the closed room. There must be other parties involved and can trick CCTV, " said Soni.

The explanation made Victor respect Soni.

"This is an interesting case," Soni said in his head. If he says this out loud, it may offend others.

"Thank you," Victor said happily.

Victor then gets a report proof letter stating Luis is declared a missing person. Victor photographed the letter and sent it to Rami via chat message.

"Let's meet here tonight," Rami retorted.

Rami wants to know the full story of Victor's chronology and how he decides to report Luis as a missing person. She also sent a map of the location of the meeting place to Victor.
