Wildo Finds Crocodile

Wildo always travels during the day until night. When he returns to White Castle and knows Victor is gone, Wildo asks Daniela why let him go.

"I don't want to fight half-phantom for the sake of that kid. I have nothing to do with your goals," Daniela said coldly.

"You get paid to make sure that person is here," Wildo fumed at Daniela's behavior.

Daniela put her book on the table roughly and also stood up. He approached Wildo with high emotions. "Pay? All of that is not enough to keep my life and this place all at once."

"Is the half-phantom so powerful?" Wildo satirizes Daniela.

Daniela took a breath and said, "He's strong enough to be able to ravage this place. Ox and the others were away when he came. I don't want to fight him alone," Daniela said.

Wildo growled, "Just tell me what your intentions really are?"

Wildo suspects that Daniela didn't stop Victor because of a different purpose from what he said.

Daniela sat back in her seat. "Nothing. I just don't want to make my living place go awry," Daniela said.

Wildo glanced at room number two. Diego was sleeping there.

"Aren't you afraid of Zi?"

Daniela looked at Wildo. "He already knew and didn't say anything. He's waiting for you in your room," Daniela said.

Wildo walked quickly towards his own room. When he opened the door, he saw Zi pretending to sleep on his bed.

"I figured you're still meeting with Mario," Wildo said. Walk quietly into his own room. The room measuring five meters by five meters was spacious enough to live alone.

Zi opened his eyes and woke up from his sleep. He sat up together with his fingers, crossed his legs, and put his hands on his knees. "It's done," Zi said. "And you, from where?"

"I found him," said Wildo sitting in a chair. On the table there was nothing, even a drinking bottle.

"Crocodile?" Zi made sure Wildo was talking about the person he was thinking about.

Wildo nodded.

"What's the condition?"

Wildo took a deep breath then explained, "Not good enough. He had to consume more energy and a human soul for his strength to awaken. His condition is weaker than when you just rose into this world. Now, he is hiding in the Lubang Buaya. Only that place would never have been thought of by the Snake Phantom. The place where Crocodiles used to slaughter the Generals, took energy and ate their souls."

Zi rubbed his chin. "Lubang Buaya? Didn't he fight D'Toni there first?"

Wildo nodded. "That's right. The natural darkness energy that exists there is what Crocodile needs to survive. So, after successfully escaping from D'Toni, he returned there. He lived with a son who helped him to hunt humans. So, he doesn't need to go out to hunt by himself. His son, a half human, was named Asmodeus. I've talked to him."

Zi grinned. "No wonder, it's hard to find."

"Are you sure you want to cooperate with him? His current strength will not be enough to kill Bibi."

"Yes. Only he can do it. Bibi won't be able to be killed by the sword of any creature other than Crocodile," Zi said.

"Why is that?"

"Because only his sword can stop the influence of Bibi's power on D'Rana," Zi said.

"Can you explain more?" Wildo honestly admits he doesn't understand Zi's intentions.

"Bibi has the ability to reconstruct human memories and enter false memories. Her power will continue to be active even if Bibi is killed, but there is a power that can stop her, namely the crocodile sword. Crocodile's sword can destroy false memories and reconstruct memories that have been reconstructed by Bibi, he will reverse and simultaneously eliminate memories that do not belong to D'Rana."

"Flipping and getting rid of," Wildo said, though it's hard to imagine how that could have happened.

Zi nodded.

"Isn't it risky?"

"Of course it is risky, especially when D'Rana's power has not yet awakened. Her power to resist the reconstruction in her memory later will help her survive. If we do it before that, D'Rana will die when Bibi is killed. Therefore, while waiting for D'Rana's power to rise, we help Crocodile heal."

"It's very complicated," Wildo said.

Zi smiled. He stood up and came to the window.

Wildo looked at Zi's expression. "You regret coming to this world?"

"No," Zi replied. "I actually regret that I couldn't stop that Snake Phantom. I can't go back without bringing him back."

Wildo also looked out the window. He remembered the time where he fought against Magus and his army. "That wartime... should be your chance. If Dian Yan Li did not disappear suddenly, maybe we wouldn't need to exist until now."

Zi turned his head and leaned his back against the wall, the other side of the window. His memory went back to the past. "If I remember that day. I think that's the only thing I regret. I didn't realize it could happen."

Wildo and Zi both remember the past. They go back to the time where they fought against Ah Rong. "That day, Dian Yan Li disappeared after passing through the twin trees. I was even surprised, how could that be? I keep thinking about it to this day and haven't figured it out yet."

Wildo and Zi were silent to each other.

"Already, we are focused on the present. Take me to Crocodile," Zi said.

"Before we left, I was curious about something," Wildo said.

Zi gave his attention and Wildo continued, "Doesn't it matter if Victor is with Ken?"

Zi grinned. "No. Maybe it's just an advantage," he said.

Wildo nodded his head. Although he didn't completely agree with Zi, Zi had a point. Victor can learn naturally to awaken his power from Ken. Wildo worries about Ken's loyalty to Zi. In his opinion, Ken could have tried to master Victor's power alone.

After that, Zi and Wildo walked out of the house. They head to Crocodile's hiding place.

Meanwhile, Ken and Victor have arrived home. Victor sat leaning his back on the sofa. He felt very relieved to be able to get home safely. No one intercepted him halfway.

"It seems that you are no longer afraid," said Ken, who walked to the refrigerator and took a drink.

Victor was also surprised because he seemed to be used to the incident that almost took his life. "That's right. It seems that I have been able to accept my new situation," Victor said.

"Are you just trying to be tough?"

Victor snorted. "I don't know. It may also be so. I try to accept myself as I am. You know, all the way home I thought about mastering some martial arts skills so I could defend myself."

"I think so too. Because we never know when the next attack will come and I'm not your bodyguard who has to be with you for 24 hours," Ken said, already sitting in his seat.

Victor got up from the sofa and took mineral water from the refrigerator. He also felt thirsty.

"Do you want to teach me?"

"Oke. I will train you until you can control your strength as well. I think it will be profitable. Imagine that you can rewind time when danger comes and escape."

Victor imagined it. "I suddenly felt like I was part of The Avengers."

Ken laughed. "You can still be funny," Ken said.

Victor chuckled lightly, but was momentarily stunned later. "Where is your medicine box? Your injury.." Victor looked at Ken's legs and arms that had been slashed by Bando's knife.

"Didn't it just now..." Victor was surprised to see that the wound had already closed.

"What did I say just now? The wound will heal by itself."

"It's impossible. You're like a vampire in movies," said Victor, who still couldn't believe it.

Ken then explained the advantages of half-stealth compared to humans.

"That's so cool. If I have a body that can regenerate quickly, I don't have to be afraid of getting hurt," Victor said.

Ken shook his head. Humans are complicated, he thought.

Then Victor thought of something. "How many types are there... I mean the phantom clan in this world?"

"You really started to be interested?"

"I'm not just interested. I felt I had to know in order to protect myself," Victor said. Ken thought of something else he couldn't say to Victor.

"Bando said he was from the snake phantom clan. Is every phantom in groups?"

Ken thought of the best way to answer Victor's question.

"They're just like human beings. Some live in groups, some are alone. If they live in groups, they are not necessarily loyal to each other, but it can be for their own benefit. The Snake Phantom Clan is like that too. However, the snake phantom clan has a wide network all the way abroad. They dominate this world with their poison, so they are feared. Their movements can be said to be silent, often deadly. I heard, among the snake phantoms, there are those who play assassins. Not only are they moving in the shadow world, but there are also those who are officially members of the military in various countries of this world. Under the pretext of maintaining world peace, they came to power with their poison."

Ken's style of speech made Victor feel that he was hearing a story about a dictatorial world ruler.
