Ken, the Hero

Ken's face looked battered after 'practicing' with Aditya. He went back to the mall just to pick up the car. He tried to contact Victor but the phone was not picked up. So, He assumed that Victor had gone home.

"It's so late anyway. He must have arrived home." Ken talked to himself then got in the car and started it. A drizzling rain fell on the streets and Ken felt uncomfortable with this change in weather.

Meanwhile, Victor was already panting with hair that felt sore like it was about to be plucked from his head. The man who attacked him grinned.

"My name is Bando and I come from the Phantom Snake clan. So, you should be proud to be the meal of the highest race in this world," said Bando boasting of his lineage.

Victor was not impressed at all. For him, Bando is actually the worst example of the clan.

"You're the worst!" Victor was not afraid to curse.

Bando was annoyed so he slapped Victor. Victor's face fell to the ground after being slapped by Bando very hard.

Ken's car was already on the highway and getting closer to the location where Victor was. As it gets closer, the number of vehicles passing by is running low. That's not uncommon.

"Feels like there's going to be something bad going on," Ken's mind became riled up. Moreover, that night the streets seemed quieter than usual. The metropolis should not be that scary. So, when the hunch was never wrong, that's when Ken stopped the car. He felt another stealth existence not far from where he was. He saw a road overpass, probably about a kilometer away from where he was. Nothing else blocked his view, so he was pretty sure that a low-strength demon was with Victor. Ken had recognized Victor's aura from the first time he met.

Ken drove his vehicle to quickly get to the point where the 'danger' entering his radar seemed more real. And sure enough, he saw that the demon was grabbing Victor's hair. The demon was already ready to drag Victor to a more hidden place.

Ken accelerated the pace of his vehicle. He stopped him after getting close enough to the walking demon dragging Victor. The demon quickened his pace, seeming to notice Ken's arrival.

"Hi! Stop there!" Ken ran after the demon.

"How did he get into my domain?" Bando was daunted because he believed his domain was a powerful domain.

Victor, who was still conscious, laughed. He was happy because it meant that there were other creatures stronger than Bando. All creatures should be humble and realize that there is still a sky above the sky, Bando is the worst for not realizing that, Victor thought.

Bando was even more annoyed by Victor who taunted him with laughter. His anger was doubled because the figure chasing him was known to him as a half-phantom, which means it was also half-demon. He could tell it just from the scent of his blood. For him, his pride was at stake if he escaped from the phantom half. He will be a loser if he doesn't face it. So, Bando decided to turn around after seeing a more suitable location for fighting.

Bando throws Victor aside, into the field so he can be free to face Ken. Victor groaned. Having no way to minimize the pain, Victor felt an unpleasant impact on his body that made him almost want to vomit again.

Meanwhile, Bando attacks Ken, who had been running behind him. Ken realized Bando's knife so he pulled out his sword. Bando frowned, because not all half-phantom could have weapons.

"Who are you?!" shouted Bando as Ken's knife and sword collided with each other. Bando is an agile melee fighter. Ken is also not a creature that does not have fighting abilities.

Ken grinned. "You don't need to know, just feel my power!" retorted Ken and deliberately boasted.

"How dare you block me who is hunting!" Bando jumped up and was about to use his punch to outwit Ken. That doesn't mean anything, though, because Ken knows his plan from reading his moves. Ken can dodge once, but because he is too focused on hand movements, Ken does not expect to get kicked. The headband can spin quickly and change attacks from feet to hands. He used his hands to support his body.

After that, Bando quickly switched the attack to hand and knife back movements. Those quick attacks and movements resulted in scratches on Ken's thighs.

Ken fell down and held the body with his knees. He was panting.

"Apparently you are only a half-phantom who has no match for me," Bando said with his arrogance. His canines seemed to be poking out.

Ken silently said, "Aditya is much faster than him, but because I've faced Aditya first, I'm getting tired."

Ken got up to his feet and calmed down again.

"The fight has just begun," Ken said after being able to stand up straight.

Bando was pleased with the reaction. Although not happy with Ken's confidence.

"You make me sick!" shouted Bando. "It shouldn't be half-phantom to dare to fight a phantom!"

The headband with his high pride attacked Ken first. Ken is getting used to the knife user's fighting style. Ken pointed his sword and made a cut on Bando's arm.

The headband retreated backwards. "You..."

"Don't underestimate half phantom... You're a rotten snake demon. What is your purpose for bringing Victor?"

"Oh... so you are his friend?" Bando stood up straight. He took out the second knife. "All at once, I have a meal."

Without further ado, Bando attacked Ken again with his two knives. This time it was not an ordinary knife used, but one of the knives was a curse knife containing poison.

Bando had incredible speed when fighting within his domain. It also makes him superior to being able to attack Ken. The headband almost hit Ken's face. However, Ken managed to dodge. That's when Ken smelled sulfur and other toxic substances.

"Poison," Ken said silently in his heart. Knowing that his opponent is a poisonous weapon, Ken becomes increasingly careful not to get snatched by the object.

"Damn! He is a bit troublesome!"

Ken resists the attack with a sword and dodges the poisoned blade as much as possible. Ken was not to be outdone either. There hasn't been a fight in the real world for a long time. With Aditya is just an exercise, just like any daily exercise so he doesn't exert all his strength.

"Domain, Monkey Realm," Ken said at a volume that only he could hear. Victor also entered the range of his domain.

Realizing that his opponent was expanding the domain, Bando couldn't stop thinking.

"You're such a * monkey! How can a half-phantom like you build a domain!"

Bando has always regarded half-phantom as inferior to himself. Their abilities will not exceed those of the phantoms. So he never believed that there was a half-phantom who could build a domain and even now he doesn't want to admit that Ken's domain is stronger than his.

Ken grinned. "You already know now, who is stronger?"

Ken released his sword into the air. The sword moved on its own, attacking Bando.

Bando's speed can even be matched by Ken's sword. Ken's mind power is equal enough to defeat Bando.

The end result was seen, Bando was pierced right in the heart. However, Bando is not dead, he can still move. Bando still tries to attack Ken, but his movements soon stop by themselves because his organs have been displaced.

"Goodbye," Ken said and turned Bando to ashes by piercing the crown on Bando's head. How to kill phantoms is different. The snake phantom will quickly die if the crown splits. If only the heart was pierced, it could slow down their movements, but it wouldn't kill them. If their regeneration is fast, then they can quickly recover. The snake phantom clan has the ability to regenerate quickly. Therefore, Ken must also be able to split everyone's body quickly without pause. That's what he did so that the Bando movement got thinner.

Ken is satisfied with the results of his work. He stopped the domain. Even though he can still stand upright, fatigue cannot be lied to. Ken walked slightly limping closer to Victor who was holding his ribs. Is something broken?

"Are you okay?"

Victor looked at Ken without moving a bit. That scares Ken that Victor is dead. Ken slapped Victor the cheek. Victor complained and it relieved Ken.

"What are you doing? It hurts!"

"Good. You're still fine," Ken said with irony.

Victor scowled.

"Can you wake up? Can you walk?"

Victor tried to stand up by supporting himself with his hands. He whimpered slightly.

"Anyone sick?"

"A little bit, here," Victor said, fingering the lower ribs.

"Can you walk?" asked Ken again. This is also to make sure there is nothing worse than that.

Victor walked forward. The longer it takes, the easier it can walk, which means there are no fatal injuries.

"I seem to be fine, and you?" Victor turned around to worry about Ken, who seemed to be bleeding a lot in his thighs and arms.

"I'm fine. It's a small injury."

"We'd better go to the pharmacy," Victor said.

Ken refused. He said he had bandages and other medications needed to treat it. After all, his body also has a good regeneration ability. "Tomorrow morning the wound will be gone," he said, to be cool.

Ken and Victor got in the car.
