The room card was swiped.
A beep ——
The door was instantly unlocked.
A flash of joy crossed Laura Finley's face. If this wasn't heaven aiding her, what was it?
She seemed into the room, which was pitch-dark and she couldn't see anything. She could only take out her phone to turn on the flashlight. A small area in front of her became bright. Holding her phone, she walked in, looking for the alleged safe box.
When she got to the side of the bed, she saw a box placed on the bedside table.
It was the most intricate kind of safe box she had ever seen; she had known this model, of a unique material and design, that even had a firewall for the password.
If this type of box was used, one could tell how valuable the things inside were.
Laura Finley's breath quickened involuntarily. She hastily picked it up. Normally, she wouldn't do such a thing, but Caleb Baker was clearly not a good character. Besides, it might really help Yvonne Finley. Why should she give them this opportunity?
