247: Wyatt Wright's Confession (First Update)_1

"Today is March 18th," she said, holding his hand against her face and gently rubbing it, "You need to remember this date, we made up, and from now on, we'll celebrate this anniversary."

Wyatt Wright mhm-ed, noting the date.

"Why are you so easily softened?"

Rae Bennett pretended to be angry, moving his hand away: "Fine, I won't forgive you then."

"You've already forgiven me, you can't back out now," Wyatt Wright said, holding her face to make her look at him, "Rae, you can continue to be angry, but don't ignore me."

Rae Bennett had long since stopped being angry.

"I'll go call the doctor."

The doctor was waiting outside; a local who spoke the local language.

After completing Wyatt's check-up and giving some instructions, Rae Bennett was the only one in the room who couldn't understand.

"What did he say?" she asked Wyatt.

The head of the bed had been raised, and sitting up, Wyatt looked much better than he had two days ago: "It's all good now."

Someone snorted.
