"I must be careful, I wish for your safety more than anyone else."

Rae Bennett lifted her head, her smile at the corner of her mouth forgetting to fade, "So do you understand now? It's impossible for me to forget you, and I'm not afraid to take risks."

Wyatt Wright nodded, moved closer, and touched her cheek with his forehead, a gesture of bowing in submission and defeat.

Rae Bennett was easy to appease, as long as she was loved, she would be utterly unprincipled. She opened her arms and hugged Wyatt Wright, "I'll try not to hold you back, but you have to promise me to value your life."

"Hmm, I know," Wyatt Wright laughed at himself, "I am very afraid of dying now."

"Then why did you get injured?"

He didn't speak, burying his face into her neck, breathing lightly, wanting to draw closer, to have more of her.

Rae Bennett shrank back a bit, "It tickles."

Wyatt Wright steadied her waist, "Just bear with it."
