Chapter 3 Fiance Wants to Get Married

Not long after Emily and Andre arrived, the police came.

The police cordon was set up on the spot, and no outsiders were allowed to come in and out.

Officer Jones didn't take it seriously and said, "We looked around the scene and didn't find any traces of others coming in and out. It should be suicide."

"But the specific situation needs to be reported by the forensic expert."

This kind of thing would happen two or three times a month.

Robbery.

Rape and murder.

Or drugging to death.

Office Jones had seen many cases, so he didn't think it was a big deal.

Andre was with a long face.

"It's my fault. I should have taken my baby away when I got the news."

He thought the same as Emily.

Suicide? What a coincidence.

Emily shook her head. "It's none of your business. Someone doesn't want us to know. Even if we find her, it's not that easy to ask something."

There was a fog ahead. Emily felt cold all over her body.

Andre comforted her, "Since we can find one, we can find the second one. What about you? Do you want to stay?"

"I don't know yet."

Emily said uneasily.

The agency must want her to have a relationship with Cavendish.

There was no news about the cause of her son's death. She might really have to stay in England for a longer time.

The two of them went back to Andre's house together. As soon as they stopped the car, they saw a familiar figure waiting downstairs.

Andre's face darkened.

"Why is Kliman here?"

Albert just saw them and rushed up in an instant.

When he saw that Emily was with Andre, he couldn't help but sneer with a sour expression.

"Sure enough, dogs can't change to eat shit. You like men so much. Can't you live without men?"

Andre heard this, he was about to rush up and beat him, but Emily stopped him.

"Only those who are filthy in their hearts will think of anything to worst."

She said indifferently and looked at Albert with a trace of pride.

"Besides, I don't think I have anything to do with Mr.Kliman. It's none of your business who I date with. "

Did he really think she was going to some remote forest?

This famous Mr.Kliman.

There were a lot of gossips about him in the past five years.

Nominally, he was dating Lucy while having affairs with famous models and singers in turn secretly.

He didn't fear that the lower part would sick with a party every night.

Emily felt disgusted at the sight of him.

Hearing this, Albert got angry.

He was not a gentleman. He didn't believe that he couldn't hit a woman.

But Albert saw Emily standing next to Andre, who was with solid muscles. He took a deep breath.

"Do you think I'm willing to see you?"

He cursed, "You are so ill-bred. I have been waiting for you at the airport for a long time, but I haven't seen you."

Seeing Emily didn't say anything, Albert thought that she was finally afraid of him.

He turned to look at Andre, with his eyes full of arrogance.

"I have something to tell you. I hope there will be a quiet environment about our engagement."

Albert let Andre go.

Andre looked at Emily worriedly. That bastard was not a good person.

He was afraid that Emily would be in danger.

Emily shook her head at him. "I need you to take care of Ice for a while. I have something to deal with."

After Andre left, Albert opened his mouth.

"What? You haven't got rid of that illegitimate daughter?"

Emily turned her head to look at him with a unique look of pity.

"Why would I abandon my daughter when a man with a birth defect like you was raised?"

This kind of person was the main character of a book.

It was ridiculous.

Albert's face changed, "How dare you humiliate me?"

Emily got in the car first. "Didn't you start first? Aren't you going to talk about the engagement?"

To get rid of this psycho quickly. She had something else to do.

Sitting on the passenger seat, Albert took a deep breath.

He said, "I can complete the engagement with you, but we need to sign a prenuptial agreement."

"First, you have to send away the illegitimate daughter as soon as possible."

"Second, my property has nothing to do with you."

"Third, I don't need to perform any husband responsibilities for you. After marriage, we will live our own lives. "

"But you have to promise the least loyalty to me."

In other words, Albert could continue to indulge in dissipation after marriage.

But Emily had to live as a nun of the middle ages.

Albert took out a contract and handed it to Emily.

It was just the basic terms of the prenuptial agreement.

The rest was written in black and white clearly.

Albert looked at Emily.

The woman in front of him should have lived a good life in the past few years, not as skinny as she had been in five years.

Her round and deep eyes seemed to be covered with mist, making it difficult to guess what she was thinking.

Emily was like the white orchid in morning dew. And she was so shining and attractive that men became dumb after seeing her.

Albert, like all men, when seeing Emily, could not help arsing his lust.

If Emily could be more sensible and obedient, he would have been able to hold back his anger and pamper her.

Fortunately, Emily didn't know what Albert was thinking.

Otherwise, she couldn't help throwing this dirty man out of the car and driving over.

She took the contract and glanced at it casually. She sneered.

People who didn't know this might think this was a treaty for slave owners to squeeze slaves before the Civil War.

Did Albert think he was some kind of rare gem?

Whoever a woman saw him was about to chase him.

"Didn't you say that my father wanted to see me? Let's talk about it together."

Emily casually threw the contract back and drove out of the community where Andre's home was located.

It was almost dusk. Copper's home was brightly lit.

Hearing the sound of the car, Lilith walked up to it in surprise.

She hugged Emily and said, "Long time no see. How are you doing recently? Your father has been nagging about you."

Emily stepped back uncomfortably.

This woman was Lucy's mother.

She was beautiful, gentle and tender, and seemed to be good to Emily.

But Emily knew that Lilith was not a reasonable person in the original book.

Otherwise, she wouldn't have kept in touch with Aldrich after he married Emily's mother.

Even when she married someone else, she gave birth to Lucy with Aldrich.

Yes, this stepsister, a few years older than Emily, was not the daughter of Lilith's ex-husband.

She was the product of Aldrich's extramarital affair.

"Really?"

Emily said flatly, "I thought my father would only curse me every time at home. After all, I was the woman who disgraced his family."

Lilith looked at Emily in surprise.

What happened?

In the past, Emily was not smart enough to say such words.

Before Lilith could say anything, Aldrich came out of the room, followed by Lucy.

He looked at Emily with disgust.

"It's good that you know it. If it weren't for you, my Copper family wouldn't have suffered so much criticism!"
