Chapter 31 The One Committing the Crime Should Pay the Price

Emily's action came to a slow halt.

She widened her eyes as if she had seen a ghost. "What did you say?"

The more Andy thought about it, the more he felt that this method was really good.

If Ice didn't have a father, then Auston could be Ice's father!

If Auston became Ice's father, then Emily could be his mother!

"Hahaha..."

Emily smiled awkwardly.

"What a creative idea!"

Then she looked at the door casually.

Somehow, after hearing Andy's words, she always felt a chill on her back.

It was as if Auston appeared at the door and looked at her coldly!

His face, which had been expressionless all year round, suddenly appeared in Emily's mind.

Well, I didn't know what kind of angel could bear a person like Auston?

A woman to marry Auston really did a good thing for people.

This was the scope of saving all living beings.

"Well... You can't say that casually. If your father likes someone else, it will easily cause misunderstanding."

Emily touched Andy's head and said with a smile.

"Even if I am not your mother, I will still love you."

To be honest with Emily, Auston was really handsome.

It was so handsome that when she first saw him, Emily was even absent-minded for a moment.

Not to mention his wealth which made people amazed.

It was impossible that he didn't have a female companion.

Unexpectedly, Andy said firmly, "Dad doesn't like anyone."

Or maybe, work was Auston's dream lover?

Anyway, Andy had never seen any woman who flattered Auston got closer with his father.

Emily didn't know how to respond.

After all, it seemed that Andy was really looking forward to it.

Fortunately, Hedda appeared in time and saved her.

"The nanny was caught."

Since Andy was kidnapped, Cecilia had disappeared.

How could Auston let her go?

He sent people to guard all the bus stations, railway stations, and airports in London.

As long as people could get out of London, Auston's men would be there.

Cecilia didn't want to leave London at all.

But to Emily's surprise, it wasn't Auston who caught Cecilia.

It was Andre.

In fact, Emily and Andre hadn't contacted each other for a long time.

Of course, it was not because Cecilia was introduced by Andre, which made Emily angry.

The situation was too chaotic.

She hadn't even gone to see Ice for a few days.

Emily and Hedda returned to Cavendish manor.

Auston sat on the sofa, with Cecilia kneeling in front of him and Andre next to Cecilia.

When Andre saw Emily, he stepped forward subconsciously.

But he seemed to remember something and stopped awkwardly.

"Emily, I'm sorry. I..."

Emily tilted her head and gave Andre a big hug.

"Come on, when did you become so hesitant?"

She really didn't blame Andre.

It’s easy to tell a people by his face but not his heart.

Cecilia had been a good friend when she first came here. Who could tell that she had a hidden scheme?

"It's so touching."

Auston's cold voice came from behind.

"So, have you two changed the emotion well?"

Andre had heard a lot about Auston.

But the two of them were not even nodding acquaintances.

He was really surprised to hear Auston say that.

Emily had already adapted to the way Auston spoke.

She let go of Andre and turned to look at Cecilia.

The poor nanny must be having a hard time recently. Her clothes were dirty and her hair was in a mess.

Her face was covered with tears, and she was crying out of breath.

Not to mention Auston's reaction, at least Emily was quite surprised.

"You still have the face to cry?"

Didn't she ask for it?

Emily thought she was good to Cecilia, but now Cecilia betrayed her with only a little money?

"It's all my fault, Emily. I'm really sorry."

Cecilia sobbed, "I... I'm just doing this for my son. He, he owed a lot of money. I can't watch him die!"

"You are also a mother. You can understand what I am thinking."

"I can't."

There was obvious disgust in Emily's eyes.

"If you don't want your own child to die, just send someone else's child to die? You really make me sick."

Auston stood up and walked to Emily.

"Your son is dead."

He said in an easy tone as if he was saying today's dinner being Japanese food.

"When he ran away, he was run over by a car and died on the spot."

Cecilia opened her eyes wide, sad and desperate.

She shook her head in disbelief.

"No, no, no, no. Oliver is still so young! How could he die?"

Auston didn't want to hear a word from Cecilia anymore.

"At your disposal."

After saying that to Emily, he turned around and left.

So, as a young man, Oliver shouldn't have died. Then, should Andy or Ice die for her son?

Selfishness had infiltrated into every pore of Cecilia, and every drop of blood showed the extreme coldness of humanity.

Andre put his arm around Emily's shoulder and said guiltily, "I don't tell people well on this matter. I..."

"All right."

Emily interrupted Andre.

"Don't mention it again. As for her, let the police dispose her."

Emily believed that the law would give a fair judgment.

After Cecilia was taken away, Emily had a few happy days.

Ice had been fostered in Cavendish manor and lived with Andy.

Andy's condition didn't meet the discharge standard.

But the environment in the hospital was really depressing.

At night, when Emily walked in the corridor, she could hear the desperate sobs of the patient or their family.

Almost every night.

Andy might recover soon after resting at home.

Of course, Emily was very clear that this matter was far from an end.

She had never taken the engagement with Albert seriously.

In Emily's eyes, Albert and Copper family were just figures in a book.

She didn't expect that they would do such a thing to Ice together.

Emily had a deep reflection on herself. She hadn't found out the cause of her son's death yet. How could she forget the pain so soon?

This was not over.

She would make Kliman pay for it!

In fact, the Kliman family had already paid the price.

It was a joke that Auston would let go of Kliman. Under his instruction, no bank would lend money to them.

Their projects were also suspended, and bankruptcy was just a matter of time.
