Chapter 24 Blood Type Match

When he went downstairs, Lucas had already driven away. He looked in the direction where there was no shadow. He scratched his head and felt confused.

In the hospital, Ashley was wheeled into the operating room with blood. Others took the initiative to make way for her.

He rushed to the hospital as fast as he could. The nurse told him that Ashley had been sent to the operating room.

When he arrived at the operating room, the red light was already on. He paced outside and looked inside from time to time, hoping that Ashley must be safe.

People in the hospital's corridor were talking about the car accident. It was said that the driver of the other party was from the famous Johnson family. He rushed to the Johnson group to send important documents and ran the red light, which caused the car accident.

Half an hour later, the operation was still in progress, but the Johnson family had sent someone over. Even the old Mrs. Johnson of the Johnson family was supported to come over.

"Mr. Lucas, I'm sorry for what happened today. We will pay all the medical expenses of Miss Ashley."

The Lucas family and the Johnson family were in the same circle. The Johnson family also knew about the affair between Lucas and Ashley.

Mrs. Johnson's attitude was good, but so what? If something bad happened to Ashley, he would get even with them for this no matter how good her attitude was.

Seeing that Lucas didn't respond to her, Mrs. Johnson felt embarrassed as an elder. But thinking of the people in the operating room, she had to wait.

More than one hour later, the doctor came out, but the first sentence was, "Now the injured need a lot of blood, but blood type A in our hospital is not enough. You'd better find someone to donate blood as soon as possible."

"Type A?"

"Yes, it's urgent. Hurry up." The doctor urged.

Lucas wasn't blood type A. He took out his phone and planned to ask Martin to do it. As long as someone was willing to donate blood, he was willing to compensate.

But it would take some time. He just hoped that it was not too late.

At this moment, Mrs. Johnson stood out and said, "I'm blood type A. Use my blood."

The doctor nodded at the nurse next to him and said, "Take this lady to have her blood drawn as soon as possible."

"Okay, come with me."

Mrs. Johnson followed the nurse and told her assistant to focus on the situation here.

Lucas heaved a sigh of relief, but he didn't stop making the phone call. Who knew what else would happen?

After a while, Mrs. Johnson drew out the blood and rested in another place. The nurse sent the blood to have a check and made sure it was useful to Ashley.

More than an hour later, the light in the operating room finally turned green. Lucas couldn't wait to grab the doctor and ask him about the condition.

"How is my wife?"

"She is out of danger. Don't worry."

"What about the kid?" Lucas asked.

"The baby is fine too. Fortunately, the injured will be transferred to the intensive care unit soon. You can visit her for a short time."

"Thank you, doctor."

Hearing the doctor's words, Lucas' face softened a little. Mrs. Johnson had a good rest and was supported by her assistant to come over.

"Mr. Lucas, how is Miss Ashley?"

"She is out of danger. Thank you, Mrs. Johnson."

Finally, Lucas was willing to talk to her. After saying that, he was about to enter the ward, but was stopped by Mrs. Johnson's assistant.

"Mr. Lucas, Mrs. Johnson wants to talk to you about your wife."

He frowned and pushed the assistant's hand away. "I'll ask the lawyer to talk to you later. Whether it's compensation or anything else. I need to see my wife now."

"Mr. Lucas, don't you want to know your wife's origin?"

Hearing Mrs. Johnson's words, Lucas stopped and turned his head He was confused.

"What do you mean?"

"Let's talk in the car."

There were all kinds of things in the car of the Johnson family. It should be the special car of Mrs. Johnson. Her assistant brought her tea and water.

"Mrs. Johnson, if you have something to say, just say it. I don't have so much time to waste here."

"If you hear what I'm going to say next, you'll know it's not a waste." Mrs. Johnson handed the cup to her assistant and wiped her mouth elegantly with a handkerchief. "When I donated blood to your wife just now, the nurse said that we had almost the same blood type. I kept an eye on it and paid the nurse to check it. Look."

She gave the test result to him. He took it and found that Ashley and Mrs. Johnson were related!

"How is that possible?"

Lucas couldn't believe it. What a coincidence! He didn't believe it. He held the test report and shook his head.

"It's impossible. How could Ashley..."

"Just now, I asked someone to check the information of your wife. She is an orphan, right? The Johnson family lost a daughter more than 20 years ago. Can't the test result prove anything?"

"Don't you have a girl named Julia in your family?"

"That's wrong. So many years have passed, and we have regarded her as sustenance. Now it turns out that Ashley is the daughter of the Johnson family. No matter what you say, we will let her admit her origin."

It never occurred to Lucas that a car accident would involve so many things. He didn't know what to say. This was Ashley's origin. No matter what, she should make the choice herself.

"You can tell her yourself when she wakes up. I only have one request. As long as she is happy, I don't care if you want to recognize her or not. If I know that you have a special purpose for her and hurt her in the name of family, I won't let you go!"

After saying that, he opened the door and got out of the car. Ashley had been placed in the ward. She had just been out of danger and needed to be observed. After confirming that there was no other problem, she could be transferred to the general ward.

Mrs. Johnson went back to the Johnson family with something on her mind and told her son and daughter-in-law about it.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson almost fainted when they heard this.

"Mom, is that true? Is Ashley our daughter?"

"It's true. If you don't believe me, you can do the match. As for other things, I have sent someone to investigate. My granddaughter can't be left outside. Get ready."

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson looked at each other. They couldn't accept the sudden appearance of their biological daughter.

"What about Julia? Should we tell her that she was the wrong baby? How could she accept it? She is our daughter who we have raised for more than 20 years."

"The Johnson family doesn't mind to have one more family member. She can still stay in the Johnson family, and everything will remain the same."

Outside the door, Julia heard everything. Her eyes were full of anger. It had been more than 20 years, but why did Ashley suddenly appear? She hated her! She was the daughter of the Johnson family. She would not allow one more person to compete with her for everything of the Johnson family.

Considering that her parents were about to come out, she left quietly...
