{The chest trap}

"Alright, let's keep going, I don't want to waste my time here," Valorie said. Ghost, who had somehow appeared when they were fighting the chefs, stood by Valorie nodded in agreement. "Then let's go!" Hex said walking faster, and when thunder rumbled in the sky, he added, I really want this storm to pass soon too."

----{After fighting mobs and resting a little}----

"This Arch-Illager is really rich! Too bad nothing is interesting here..." Hal said kinda disappointed. Then Hex said "Hey look! There's a cool-looking chest in the middle of that platform over there, let's go open it!"

But then, Hedwig stopped him, "You can't just open some random chest, it might be a trap! "She's right you know, it could be a trap," Valorie said.

"Nothing too bad could possibly happen, maybe just some pillagers, we could deal with them very easily right? Hex asked. Valorie opened her mouth, but no words came out, so Hex went on what he was going to do like he always does. And they had no choice but to follow him.

When Hex opened the chest, there was some good stuff in there, but there were also tons of pillagers (that seemed to come out of nowhere) aiming their crossbows at the warriors. Valorie quickly took out her totems of shielding to block the pillager's projectiles "I warned you that this was a trap!" Hedwig shouted. "You couldn't blame me, could you?! That chest was so tempting, was it not?!" Hex yelled back.

"Come on! Stop your little argument and get your weapon ready, this shield won't last any longer!" That was the end of their argument. Once the shield was gone the heroes started to fight the pillagers and with the help of Ghost, they made it out alive of that trap.

When they found somewhere to rest and heal up, Valorie told Hex never to open any more chests unless he was sure it was safe to open.

Hex said he understood Valorie's words, but the group wasn't so sure. Knowing that being the troublemaker he was, he was surely going to forget, and end up doing more dumb things in the future, so his friends made sure to keep their eyes on him.
