"Speaking of boys," Hedwig said, "Where are they?"

She looked around the room to see if she could spot them.

Valorie leaned against the wall next to Hedwig and said, "I don't hear anymore teleporting, so the mobs must have been taken care of...they should have come back by-"

"Hey girls, we manage to kill all of the mobs and come back in one piece!" Both boys said with Ghost running behind them.

"-now," Valorie finished.

"Come here boy, you did a great job, let me heal you," Valorie said, bending down and holding her arms out, motioning Ghost to come over. When Ghost came over, Valorie gave the wolf a pat on the back and a treat, then she went to work healing Ghost.

While Valorie was busy, Hedwig asked, "Hal, It's safe to go out of this horrible place now, right?"

"Well...Hex and I explored a little and..." He paused for a moment before continuing, "The mansion was bigger than we thought it was, so in other words, those double doors behind the Arch-Illager's throne, do not lead to freedom yet..."

"Aw, come on!"

Hex turned to Hedwig and added, "But...we're glad to see that you woke up from your sleep."

"Haha, very funny Hex," Hedwig replied, rolling her eyes. She continued, "I'm fine, thank you very much, but..." She looked at the boys up and down, "Are YOU okay? You boys look like porcupines." Behind them, Valorie snickered before getting serious again and focusing on Ghost.

Hedwig wasn't wrong, the boys did look a lot like porcupines with all the arrows stuck on their armor that the boys didn't even bother to get off. Their armor was also burnt and distorted. The boys had many injuries, but there was no blood to be seen on them.

That doesn't mean that they don't have blood, or that they can't feel pain, in this world, all mobs and humans, whether peaceful or hostile, don't bleed. Weirdly, bleeding doesn't exist, but that does means less mess to clean up, right?

Despite all their injuries, the boys don't seem so concerned.

"What do you mean Hedwig? We're totally fine, see?"

"Yeah...sure."

"Alright, I finished healing Ghost, he's good to go, but you two boys are not," Valorie said, pointing at Hal and Hex. "Come over here so I can help you heal because nobody is going to believe that you are fine when you look like that."
