Chapter 27 Isn’t she?

The next morning got up from his hotel bed and after freshening up he called Samuel.

"Brother Liam, your ride is ready! I am standing on the ground floor. You can come up wherever you are ready." Samuel picked up the call and answered immediately.

"Okay!" Liam didn't say anything more.

He knows Samuel gets ready early in the morning as he likes to prepare things for Liam's daily activities. So, it didn't come as a surprise for Liam as he was used to Samuel's behaviour.

Taking a lift Liam reached the ground floor.

After he walked out of the lift, he caught Samuel standing near the car waiting for his arrival.

Looking at Liam heading in his direction Samuel opened the car door for Liam.

Liam got in the car and made himself comfortable.

After Liam entered the car Samuel closed the door and took a seat in front.

"Where do you want to go today, Brother Liam?" Samuel asked as he got in the car as looked at Liam from the rearview mirror.

"What do you think would be a good gift for a middle-aged man?" Liam didn't reply to Samuel and asked back Samuel regarding the matter of gift.

"Who do you want to buy it for?" Samuel didn't answer instantly but asked about the details as he wanted to be more sure about a person's taste if they chose a gift for him or her.

"It's for Uncle Jack!" Liam replied as he thought about the person in the talk.

"How about wine? Do they drink wine or not?" Samuel suggested to him.

"Hm... Now that I think about it Uncle Jack is one of those people who love to drink different kinds of wine. He also went to a few wine exhibitions with his father back then. So, I guess there isn't a better gift than a bottle of rich and fragrant wine. What do you say?"

Liam remembers when he was still here before that unfortunate event. His father and Uncle Jack would go to the wine exhibitions.

His father also treated Uncle Jack with one of the best wines which cost millions of dollars.

As they were close friends and relationships between them was like a family so it wasn't that hard to guess that his father treated Uncle Jack well and regarded him highly even in his house.

"I think he will like it for sure!" Samuel nodded in agreement as he listened to Liam.

"In that case, let's go to the best winery in here and after that, we'll go and see Uncle Jack," Liam told Samuel to take him to one of the best wineries in London to get their gift.

Samuel nodded and started the car engine and exited out of the hotel.

"Do you know what kind of wine or drink Uncle Jack likes most?" Samuel suddenly asked Liam as they made their way towards the winery.

"Well, as for drinking he drinks all kinds of wines and whisky; but he likes aged once more."

Liam told Samuel about Uncle Jack's liking.

As another person, Uncle Jack had drunk different kinds of wines and whiskies ranging from a few thousand dollars to tens of thousands of dollars.

But if it comes to the best wine or whisky he(Uncle Jack) tasted then it was The Macallan 1926 60-Year-Old which was a gift from his father to Uncle Jack.

[A/N: The Macallan 1926 60-Year-Old is actually the world's one of the most expensive whisky if you want you can google it.]

It was one of the most expensive whiskeys in the entire world ever sold worth nearly two million dollars.

"Do you think they have any wine or whiskey ageing more than 50 years in here?" Liam questioned Samuel as they drove.

"Hmm... In truth, it is hard to say." Samuel contemplated a bit before answering. "But every year there are vintage drinks auctioned often so we can find one."

"However we have to take a few detours if you want to buy the vintage collection," Samuel said afterwards.

"No problem! All good if we can find that. Take your time." Liam responded by listening to Samuel.

He knew it would take some time for them to search for a place that has that high-end classic vintage collection so he wasn't troubled with that.

Yes! In reality, If he wants to purchase anything he just has to say a word and Samuel will contact his subordinate to get that thing.

But this is a totally different thing.

He has returned after seven years and is now finally meeting a person who is close to him other than his blood family and Anastasia.

And if he brings something which he hasn't personally selected for one of the most important people In his life then he wouldn't feel satisfied.

Uncle Jack treated Liam like his own son so how can he do something like that to him.

After that Samuel and Liam went to many places for their desired gift but didn't find any luck in their journey.

"Well, this one is the same!" Liam sighed as watched Samuel shaking his head from side to side.

They had visited more than a dozen wineries and vintage collection houses to search for that piece but still didn't get any good news.

Actually, some of the premises had that aged collection but they were just twenty to thirty years old once;

And Liam naturally wanted to have the best so he didn't settle with those.

"We have only 2-3 places left. If we didn't find any luck then... Do you want me to call someone and get it for us?" Samuel checked the list and said but he stopped his word in between and suggested.

"Let's just try and hope we can find it otherwise..." Liam still didn't want to give something which he hadn't brought himself so he decided to check the last few places hoping to find it in that place or he has to resort to other means.

"This is 2nd last place, just one left!" Samuel said as he got out of the car and walked towards the winery in front of him.

The winery owner comes out to greet as his eye caught Samuel walking toward him.

"Hello! Esteemed guests, how may I help you today?" he asked, coming in front of Samuel.

"We want to buy a vintage piece if you are around 50-60 years old," Samuel told him about his needs.

"Well! That is not a hard one as we are one of the oldest winemakers in London but the cost is... You know!" the winery owner said to Samuel.

Samuel understood from his words, he just needed and gestured to the owner to take him to see his(The winery owner) collection.

Fortunately enough, after skimming through the owner's collection Samuel found the same The Macallan 1926 Liam talked about.

So he instantly took it and settled the payment with the winery owner and walked toward the car completing the transaction.

"After some efforts, we finally found it," Samuel said as he handed the whisky bottle to Liam.

"At last we got something worthy and it is the same whisky which my father gifted Uncle Jack which he liked a lot." Liam smiled a little as he held the bottle and remembered those memories of past days.

"He has a lot of old collections and we are just lucky." Samuel nodded to Liam.

"Hmm..." Liam turned to look at the winery when he heard Samuel and suddenly got an idea.

After that, he bought the winery and left the place to visit his Uncle Jack.

On the way, Liam suddenly realised that the road they were on was also led to the cemetery where his parents were buried so he told Samuel to take him there first not before taking some flowers.

Coming to the cemetery Liam got out of the car and Samuel closed the door behind him.

Liam walked towards the cemetery but Samuel didn't move from the car.

He knows that Liam's parents are buried here; so, he wants to give some private time to Liam with his parents. That's why he didn't follow Liam inside.

However, he still kept his eyes on Liam; not like it's needed.

Liam entered the cemetery and strolled to his parents grave when he saw a girl standing in front of his parents grave.

"Hmm!.. Isn't she?" Liam was shocked after looking at the girl.
