"What?"
[I heard you met him.]
Gin nodded and didn't wonder how his asshole friend found it out. "Aha, what a pleasant meeting."
[Stop acting stupid. Does he know you?]
Gin glanced at the popcorn that wasn't even half full and raised the corners of her lips. "I don't know what he was thinking but he was suddenly being so nice. I feel touched."
[At least you should beware of him.]
"Nonsense. This madam is older than him. How could I be fooled by a little kid's silly games."
[Hmph. Keep your word.]
"Damn Han Jun. Are you my grandfather?"
[You can think so. I'm hanging up.]
"Damn it! Hey-"
TUT. TUT. TUT.
Gin snorted and threw her phone on the sofa. She bent her knees and tapped her fingers on them. Her mind drifted to their first meeting at the bar and convenience store which was actually nothing special.
This Jiyu hasn't changed much after years. He was still very handsome that made everyone's eyes unconsciously always on him. His smile could make people fall in love in one second. Eyes that were like a fox when squinting could carry a seductive charm. That was why Gin liked him in the first place.

"Woi Han Jun, I think I'm in love."
Jun-woo looked at Gin, was unmoved by the girl's joke. He ignored the girl and continued his solo basketball game.
Gin sneered as she sat cross-legged on the concrete chair. "Hey, I'm not kidding. Stop playing and listen to me."
Dug. Dug. Dug.
"Damn Han Jun. Are you deaf??? Is dirt plugging your ear canal?"
"..."
"Hellooooooooowww???"
"..."
"...WTF!!"
Gin sat and stared at his friend in disbelief. What was wrong with this guy, trying to act deaf. In her fury, Gin took the empty bottle and threw it right at Junwoo's head.
Jun-woo stopped and stared.
Gin puffed out her chest. "What are you looking at? If you want to fight, come on then."
Jun-woo shook his head then continued to play.
Gin sneered. "Perhaps that's what people call a fake friend. Hey idiot Han Jun, whether you're willing or not, you have to accompany me to meet him tomorrow."
After a long time being silent, Jun-woo finally spat out one word, "Whatever."
Gin chuckled. "Nah, that's what you call a true friend. A bestie should help their friends right. Don't worry, I will treat you to some meal."
Jun-woo rotated his eyeballs. "I doubt it will happen."
Gin showed a broken heart expression on her face. "Instead of doubting me, you should cheer me up and help me to make it come true with all your efforts!"
Jun-woo shrugged. "Well, I just remind you to not set your hopes high."
"Who knows if magical things will happen for me," Gin disproved.
Jun-woo denied. "But not for your romance."
Gin gritted her teeth. "You look good if you keep your mouth shut."
"Damn it. He has only been here for two months as a new student but there have already been a lot of butterflies around him. Maybe it's because he's too handsome," Gin said admiringly while watching from afar.
Gin's gaze was still on her crush when she nudged Junwo's arm who was sitting next to her.
"Oy Han Jun. If I'm not mistaken, that kid registered for the basketball club yesterday, right?"
"Hmm."
"Then you must accept him. Since it makes it easier for me to see him close. Who knows, he might like me too."
Jun-woo looked at his idiot friend with pity. "Don't dream in broad daylight."
Gin rolled her eyes. "Shut up dumbass. Anyway, you must let him join the basketball club!"
Jun-woo wanted to throw a stone at Gin's head right now. "It's not as easy as you said, idiot. The coach will give the final decision. Go threaten the coach to accept him rather than blabbing in my ears."
"Hmph. Without your help, he will definitely pass it," Gin said arrogantly with her chin raised.
Jun-woo was annoyed when he heard all this nonsense so he kicked Gin's leg so that the girl fell down. This idiot girl, it was clearly her who was stubbornly asking for help in the first place. Now she turned her face so fast.
Gin rubbed the back of her knees and looked at Jun-woo with a murderous look.
"F*ck you Han Jun!"
••
"HAN JUUUNNN!! How? How? How? Did he pass? Did you suggest the coach let him in???"
Gin's call that came from nowhere almost choked Jun-woo to death. He coughed before throwing a murderous glance at her idiot friend.
"Noisy!"
Gin didn't care and continued to annoy the man while surrounding him. "Come on Buddy, tell me, he has been accepted to join the basketball club right?"
Jun-woo sighed with difficulty. This would happen when you had a friend who was pretty shameless like Gin, she would bother you even when you were struggling in death.
"Hmm."
"What is it? Speak clearly. If he is accepted or not?"
"Of God. Yes, he is! Now stop buzzing in my ears!"
Gin stopped surrounding Jun-woo and sat next to him. She clapped her hands happily. "That's good! As I said before, he surely will be accepted."
Jun-woo looked at Gin with a mocking look. Who has been bothering him since yesterday like there was no tomorrow just to ask things that she said were already certain?
Gin gently patted Junwoo's arm. "Han Jun oh Han Jun, it means that you are also his senior at the club, aren't you? So don't forget to introduce him to me later, ok? Think of it as payback because I often accompany you during practice."
"Don't want to. It's embarrassing."
Gin whined. "Oh, it's a pity to have such a jerk as a friend."
"..."
"...Damn you!"
Gin squeezed her hand nervously as she entered the court where the boys of the basketball club practice. She looked around but Junwoo's silhouette couldn't be found anywhere. Normally Gin wouldn't bother too much and would leave the place without a doubt. But today was different because there was someone else that Gin was also waiting for. Because of her enthusiasm, Gin did not know that her troubled face was being watched by the people around him.
"Where is Han Jun? He knew that I would come today but here he is, still don't show up. If I find out that the bastard does it on purpose, I wouldn't let him go easily ....." She said as she squeezed the empty bottle in her hand but her eyes still looked around the place.
Gin ended up being confused about whether to go back home or not. She wanted to ask someone else but she suddenly felt shy out of context. When she was struggling with her dilemma, Jun-woo finally came from behind the door.
He was holding a basket of drinks and talking to someone standing behind his back. Gin immediately ran after him while putting on an angry look.
"Han Jun, I told you that I would come. How come you disappear like that. I've been standing here like an idiot for a long time! Don't you feel sorry for that???"
Jun-woo sneered. "No one asked you to come here."
"You... How dare you talk to this madam like that. You want to kiss my punch, huh?"
"Oh Gosh, Gin. Can you move aside? You're blocking the way."
"Oops. Sowry Buddy. Here, here, I will give you the way."
"BTW, where is he? I have been looking for him but I can't see him anywhere." Gin asked, looking at the basketball court.
Jun-woo raised his eyebrows. In his eyes, there was a playful look that Gin didn't notice. "Oh yeah?"
"Don't pretend as you forget it, idiot. Who else but that handsome new student."
Jun-woo raised the corners of his lips and nodded his head. "You mean.. him?"
Gin fell silent when he saw Jun-woo pointing back with his chin. In that direction, there was a man holding a basketball basket who had been standing behind Jun-woo. The man looked awkward when Gin looked at him with a shocked face.
Damn Han Jun. Just go to hell, you bastard!
