010 : Test

I arrived at the training ground at exactly 07:59 after my morning training and breakfast.

I could have very well skipped the breakfast and would be fine whole day.

I can go for at least a week without food, accumulated chakra is enough to power my body for months even.

I walked up to the tree stump where both the idiots were standing, without food in their body.

Naruto ignored my presence and I could sense him about to do something very stupid as Kakashi, for first time in my knowledge appeared at the time he gave.

He appeared with a large alarm clock in his hands as he set it on the stump with alarm set for 5 in the evening.

"As I said, you guys still aren't Ninjas yet, for that you'll have to pass this examination"

"Remember, on average only 9 out of a class of 27 pass this test to be alloted into Jonin teams, rest are sent to the camp to be trained for Army."

I nodded as I heard that, that much I knew from anime.

Basically it was like officers and soldiers in the military, those who became chunin or Jonin through their teams and inter-village examinations were like officers while those who came in through the genin army were like foot soldiers.

"Your test is to take these two bells from me, only those who have a bell in their hands are gonna pass this test"

"You have a total of 9 hours to complete the test, you aren't allowed to eat during this time, even if two succeed, the one without bell would be tied to a tree and won't be given any food till tomorrow morning

Both of the idiots had their eyes bulging out as Sakura shouted like a banshee "That's unfair, we didn't even eat breakfast, now you are saying we won't be able to eat until we defeat you??"

"No worries Sakura-chan, we'll defeat him on our own, then only you and me will be in the team, just us togethe..."

*Bonk*

Sakura summoned a baseball bat like tree branch from God knows where as she hit Naruto on the head with it.

"Enough of wasting time, the test starts now" he said as he exploded into multiple clones that ran in different directions.

I activated the first tomoe of my sharringan as I tracked the real him.

I ran after him as I engaged him in a close fight at low to mid genin level strength.

He also lowered his strength as he parried with me.

My Taijutsu skills were quite good, even if my level was restricted to that of a genin.

I tried to take the bells multiple time but deliberately missed due to 'Rookie' mistakes.

While I fought him for at least a good ten minutes, Naruto finally made his mind that it wasn't time for hiding and waiting for Kakashi to come himself.

He came in with at least a dozen shadow clones of himself.

He tried to throw multiple kunai and shuriken at kakashi but missed every time.

I 'retreated' for 'taking a breath' as I let them fight for the next half an hour while Naruto popped clones out like popcorn while kakashi offed them like bubbles.

I threw multiple low level genjutsu at kakashi knowing that they won't have a single bit of effect on him due to him being a Jonin, even with sharringan it is impossible to fool a Jonin with a low level genjutsu.

Sakura was just trying to do something, but all she could do was try, she didn't have any solid attack since the beginning.

This continued for a couple hours as me and Naruto exchanged places to fight Kakashi's shadow clone.

I acted like I didn't realise it was shadow clone while Naruto wasn't that smart all along.

I also changed positions with a shadow clone afterwards as I saw the fight sitting on a tree top.

"Lesson one of being a Ninja, Taijutsu, you guys suck at it"

"Let's go" he said as the shadow clone dispelled into a bunch of smoke.

Naruto looked confused as always as Sakura was clueless of what just happened.

I swapped position with my clone as I dispelled it.

"It was a shadow clone" I said as enlightenment finally dawned on the two.

"Sasuke-kun is so smart....."

Yup, I hate this Sakura too.

Naruto just made some angry Naruto sounds as he plopped down to recover.

I looked right into Sakura's eyes as I said "You are Useless" as I turned around and sat down to "recover"

I just acted like it, I was still genin in others eyes.

Half an hour completed as Kakashi's appeared throwing multiple genjutsu at us.

I pretended like I was in one for a bit but I activated the sharingan and escaped it.

I looked at Naruto as well as Sakura who were standing stoically in their places.

I touched both their heads as I dispelled the genjutsu on the both of them.

"Huh???" Naruto said as he looked towards Sakura, his eyes teared a bit as he jumped towards her as he yelled "SAKURA-CHAN, I WON'T LET YOU DIE!!!!!"

I just backed up from where I was as I saw the drama unfold.
