Vidus walked towards the western gate. He wondered what should cause the guards to send a message about some esteemed guests. He or even his vice-leaders didn't get any letters or information about some higher-ups arriving.
He arrived at the western gate some minutes later.
"Commander Vidus!" The gate guards saluted.
"Rest. What was the important matter you messaged me?" He asked the guards straightforwardly.
"Well, two scouting squads arrived here about 20? ... minutes ago and asked about the previous squad that went missing a few days ago." One said.
"We said they were seen leaving the city towards the west, and they left." The other continued.
Vidus pondered as he heard the guards. It was rather a casual speech instead of a report in his eyes, but he still thought hardly.
'Why do the scouting squads leave after they heard those by the guards? Why didn't they come to the headquarters and asked me or the vice-leaders?'
Something was missing in his thoughts and focused on finding it. The city of Lakron had 3 vice-commander while Vidus was the head commander or just the commander. It was strange for him that the arrived 'guests' had not requested a meet with any of them.
"Okay." He nodded and went back to the jail to meet with Lyanna.

*Knock* *Knock*
Someone knocked on the entrance of the jail. The door opened slowly with cracking sounds.
"Comm-... Um. Vice-commander Radan, I need your helping hands for a thing."
"What do you want, Hogen?" Radan snorted as he saw his collegue.
Hogen was the lowest among the vice-commanders and his job was nothing but mostly administration. He acted as his position recommended on important events but outdoors he was like a normal soldier.
The citizens of Lakron know him well and to honor his rank, they acted like how normally supposed to but sometimes the opposite thing happened.
Radan knew this well and without asking anything more, he stepped before Hogen and waved his hand to show the way. Before he left the building, his eyes turned towards the cell where Lyanna was. He took a last peek and then closed the door.
A gentle breeze crossed the space. Lyanna kept her eyes closed and what she heard from Vidus and Radan about exhaustion, she decided to meditate a little to relax her stiff and slightly in pain muscles in her body.
Her mind became empty and she slowly started to feel the mana around her, filling up her tired body with energy.
A sudden feeling pierced her mind that caused her eyes open in an instant. A drop of tear formed in the corner of her eyes while her heart felt a heavy pressure crushing it.
She stood up without making a noise and wrapped her finger around the iron bars. She whispered some words in a sad, cracky voice.
"Vampire Aura - Hemotoxin."
The iron bars sizzled into a gray smoke between her fingers. She then grabbed the next ones and said the same words. Then she did this on the lower parts of the bars that simply fell out from their positions.
She stepped out of the cell and made her leave without hesitation and her mother's words echoed inside her head.
"..."
"Lyanna, she will be your personal maid from now on!"
"Mother. She is aunt Orga." Lyanna said strangely.
"And? I gave up the throne and every privilege together with it." Orga said with a smile on her face.
"She will be your maid and will help you whenever I can't."
"..." Lyanna stayed quiet.
"Don't worry, Lyanna. It won't change anything!" Orga tried to cheer her up.
"Orga will be your auntie and she will take your care when I can't be beside you, my dear. Don't be sad. The time eventually will come when our ways will separate. One day we will retire and give the crown to you." Her mother said with a bright yet somewhat sad face.
Her thoughts are gone to the far-away future when she can see her daughter with a man together sitting on the throne while their children running up and down.
"Don't forget that Orga can feel your heart's desire!" Lyanna's mother winkled.
"She will feel my what?" Lyanna questioned her sentence with wide eyes.
"Yes, since both of you share the same blood, our aura connects us. Even if Orga's aura didn't awaken, she still connected to us." She replied.
"You know that Lyanna, your mother is very happy inside her heart!" Orga smiled at Lyanna.
That little chatting echoed inside her head.
